No, like he did last year.

Averaged 19.5 disposals, 3.5 goals and 13 marks against Hawthorn in 2006.
I like the way Hawthorn fans pretend they have the wood on Scotty because he played one bad game against them.

Strangely enough, I'm pretty sure he's been carrying the same injury since then.

We didn't have Lloyd last time out if I remember correctly.

We beat you twice last year and are a better side now. We also did not play Campbell Brown on him last year.

It wouldn't have mattered if you had 10 Lloyds last time. You were smashed out of the middle. If this happens again you have no chance although from what I have seen your setup is a little better now so this one will most likely be tight all day. I still believe that with Buddy and Boyle back in we can stretch you down back but I am concerned about McVeigh. He is a smart footballer and seems to have an ability to win a game almost by himself these days. He concerns me more than Lucas and Lloyd.

I will bet you that he kicks more than Llyod!!!

Changing your bet hey? not so confident that he will kick 3.5 goals by half time?

pffffft. I've seen the cocky hawk supporter claiming a top 2 position... then a top 4 position... And the same supporters, if you lose tonight, will be claiming a top 8 position...

C'mon hodgey, stand by your guns. hell, I'll round it down for you: Half time - 19 touches, 13 marks and 3 goals. - what's the stakes?

And we're not?

I reckon your side is having a halcyon year with impending retirement of Hird. Having Lloyd back also makes a huge difference. But there will be a big clean-out at the end of the year after Sheedy's favourites (Bolton, Johns)and re-cycled players (Campo and Cole) are shown the door.
Lucas is a quality player, who loves playing against the hawks and has had the wood over us. To not see him run out on Sunday will make the job a bit easier so fingers crossed he needs a week off.

Campbell Brown will be one very relieved man if Lucas doesnt line up.

Very.

Are you serious? Browny is the only hawthorn player to have kept lucas quiet in recent times. He is the sort of player who would be licking his lips at the opportunity of playing on the same player he beat last time.

It's a dam shame if Scotty doesn't play; we really need him. The hawks have been too good for us recently, and Campbell Brown seems to be having a rough patch at the moment I think... not 100% sure of my facts but I think he has had quite a few kicked on him over the last 3 weeks or so (apologies if I'm wrong and please correct me). I'm not as worried about Buddy this time round, we've got a few more options to match up on him I think with Ryder and NLM in the side, and if they suffer obviously Fletch could have another go, so I'm hoping we can keep him relatively quiet.

I'm not sure if Mitchell covers Lucas if they are both out; hard to compare them, but without Lucas I get worried :( Should be closer than last time though methinks.

bloody hell this has to happen in the one game that i really really want to win doesnt it.. fletcher and lucas possibly our two most influential players besides hird in serious doubt to play., buddy mitchel and boyle, 3 very influential players in the hawks team back to play us..

we will be massive underdogs but carn the bombers..

Please. Just like Harry O found out, you dont get away with that scragging rubbish twice on a class player.

Someone on BB said a team official has confirmed Lucas is out. Not the most reliable of sources I know but doens't sound too good. It definitely hurts us but we showed last week we don't need Lucas to fire to win a tough game. We have others who can play the link up role he did last week. Kepler to kick 5! :D

Whats BB? Anyway, it will be interesting without Lucas who kicked only 1 last time vs hawks
