Scott Lucas doubtful?

Anyone know what is wrong with him and likliness to play on Sunday? As said in a previous thread, putting Gumby back on an extended bench does give the indication that he may not play.

When I looked at the teams, I wondered about that but maybe announcing a seven-man interchange list is simply common practise for Sunday games (with three to be removed at a time closer to the games), because all the other teams playing Sunday did the same...

Correct, under AFL rules all teams that play on Sunday are entitled to name an extended bench. This is largely because these teams will have one more training session between Thursday and Sunday and players often get injuries at training.

Averaged 19.5 disposals, 3.5 goals and 13 marks against Hawthorn in 2006.
I like the way Hawthorn fans pretend they have the wood on Scotty because he played one bad game against them.

Strangely enough, I'm pretty sure he's been carrying the same injury since then.

We didn't have Lloyd last time out if I remember correctly.

He's had groin problems since about Rd 4.

The break helped but it sounds like it might be flaring up again.

With the Hawthorn game last time he should never have played but only did so because Lloyd was out as well.

one game isnt an indication at all. as also meantioned he was carrying an injury in the match, and he could have just had an off day..
