Personally i think he should have shut the borders with a 14 day mandatory government supervised curfew in mid feb

right now we would all be at work bar tourism.

I do not envy his position nor any state premiers. They are ****ed from any decision.

Want I want to see from ScoMo is a direct and clear plan. If it's stage 5 lockdown so be it he must converse with the RBA, ATO and chiefs/boards of all major cash lenders and banks to to devise a plan where rents/mortgages/loans are on hold. The social repercussions of desperate citizens will be a disaster.

The major banks are swimming with cash, the Royal Commission did nothing, didnt even touch APRA and their dreadful performance and incompetence of their duties and responsibilities. Time to act Scott, lay out the plan, ensure all citizens are clear.

He's been too slow on everything, by the time the stimulus kicks in there will be nothing left open to spend it on, borders as you say, the pay guarantee, he's coming to the right decisions he's just doing at a glacial pace. It goes right back to that first weekend when it looked like going all **** up and he said he was off to the footy. he's been way too slow on the uptake.

If the lockdowns help slow the rates down, it'd be due to the state premiers making the hard calls that Scomo was reluctant to make

I do expect him to hog all the credit if the states' decisions work out though, just as he was eager to throw Gladys under the bus, he'd be as eager to take the credit from them.

The stans who were outraged about the state premiers "killing the economy" will suddenly start lauding the lockdown decisions and proclaim Scomo as the greatest leader of all time once the lockdowns are shown to be effective

I don’t understand how I can’t social distance with 9 of my mates in a park but I can be in boot camp with 9 other strangers in the park. Doesn’t seem consistent.
