Christine Holgate was forced to stand down over those watches. The investigative report concluded Christine Holgate had done nothing wrong. Morrison refused to release the report.

Then of course just last week Morrison insisted that Frank Zumbo stand aside while complaints into his behaviour are investigated.

Morrison actually has no authority over either of these people.

This week he does have authority - and what does he do?

So the outraged left demanded action, he took it and then the investigation cleared her and the outraged now say nothing should have happened to her.

Yet now the outraged are demanding naming and shaming of someone over an alleged incident from over 30 years ago and the alleged perpetrator be sacked.

I don’t recall the opposition leader standing down until investigations cleared him.

It’s funny how when ex Labor MPs say anything negative it gets dismissed as a bitter ex MP yet Turnbull becomes everyone favourites oracle with his bitterness.
In a big field Turnbull has overtaken Rudd as my favourite embittered ex PM.

I personally don’t find anything about this situation funny. In fact quite the opposite.

Says a lot about you that you want to make it about politics though.

Absolutely nothing to do with politics, that’s why I’m sure if we go back a few years we’ll find posts from all of you condemning Shorten and demanding his resignation the same way you are this mystery person.

It’s nothing to do with politics but you say:

“It’s funny how when ex Labor MPs” and then follow up with it being about Shorten. You’re trying to deflect.

My recollection is Shorten came forward and admitted he had been under investigation by police over 10 months but that they did not push ahead with charges...

Where is the Attorney-Generals comments on these legal matters? Maybe there is a reason we have not heard from him...

How is Rudds Royal Commission coming along?

Like every good socialist you're all for sharing fairly, provided no one touches your stack. While silently bitter about those who have more than you do.

Kev's $17 million dollar retirement house on a sunshine coast beach (climate change proof is it Kev?) isn't making him happy? Doesn't seem so. Why should Murdoch have so much influence, so much money? Why can't he share?

Murdoch chuckles out the corner of his mouth the cigar isn't sitting in...

$500 million for the war memorial $452 million to fix aged care. How's that for f***ed priorities.

Isn't $200m of that commitment to aged care just patching up a gap in funding which they let happen? So it won't lead to any more services, just pay the bills for services already provided because they've under-funded it for so long.

As more detail comes out about the RC, the Govt looks even more inert. But that only matters for people who are paying attention.

Perhaps the Boomers will be paying attention. They've spent their whole lives feathering their own nests, can't see them stopping before aged care.
