Even if the LNP get up in the next election

There will be people on here who cheer it

Because they think we're on here cheering for our "team"

No, we're cheering for a better Australia, not the corrupt, Americanised sh*t you're cheering for
You mean there'll be Leftys that cheer it ??

This is deeply troubling especially given it has taken over 3 years to get Liberal Party staffer Bruce Lehrmann to face any justice at all for the alleged rape of Ms Higgins.

Was this a deliberate thing? I did make comment that Morrison had forgotten the "rule of law" so important in the Porter case when making that statement... he is a creep... I hope this hurts him more

How is this allowed and where is the opposition to call this out.

The company behind Australia’s offshore processing regime on Nauru made a $101m profit last financial year – more than $500,000 for each of the fewer than 200 people held on the island.

Rard No 3, the holding company for Canstruct International, which has the government contract to run the Nauru offshore processing centre, has more than $340m in cash and investments, according to its most recent accounts filed with the corporate regulator.
Do i even need to say it ?.....

You seem to have missed the reporting on what has been happening in aged care homes, an area of Federal Government responsibility, where many of these deaths has taken place.

It is true that is inappropriate to blame the Morrison Government for all the covid deaths and the blame is not all to be shouldered by the Federal Government. Mistakes have also been made by State Governments and private nursing care operators.

But his governments bungling of so many aspects of how the Australian response to covid was managed, over 2020 and 2021, means Morrison and his Cabinet must be held accountable for much of what has gone wrong.
You're vastly overstating how bad things were handled. It's an unpredictable pandemic, mistakes and deaths are unavoidable. Australia ranks 153 in the world for Covid deaths per capita, and the majority of the country's deaths have occurred since the borders have been opened after states reached 80% vaccine targets.

Biden's had over 12 months to fix things, and with vaccines at his disposal. He hasn't, and more than 2,000 Americans continue to die everyday.

You can't blame Biden.. this is all crazy Trump supporters and the Qanon nutters just trying to disrupt. Same crazy suff is happening here.. just not as many.
You can't blame Biden for nearly 100,000 Americans dying from Covid this year alone, but you absolutely can blame ScoMO for just over 4,000 Australians dying from Covid since the pandemic began! :$

Yes... because Australia is not America. If you want to do a more realistic comparison use New Zealand... Now how do we rank.... even WA has done much better with good leadership and control. I think we can all see where you are coming from...

WA (and NZ) are just delaying the inevitable now. He did the right thing alongside the other states in locking out Vic and NSW, but you can't stay closed forever. They've reached their vaccine targets, yet the state remains locked down and people still can't enter the state to see their families. Except for AFLW players of course, who've been given exemptions.

But yeah, strong leadership and all.

Both Trump and Biden have tried to correct the one major issue in the USA without success - the refusal of so many to vaccinate.

When Trump's own supporters boo him for saying get vaxxed, you know the USA is ****ed

FFS.

Do the words 'It's not a race' sound familiar?

And your quoting of stats about case numbers and per capita deaths is deliberately misleading.

Up until today Australia has recorded 176.59 deaths per million from covid since the pandemic began (more per capita deaths than places like the Congo, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Nigeria, Tajikistan, Nicaragua, Angola, Ethiopia and somalia).

New Zealand recorded 10.78 deaths per million in the same period.

Compare the pair.

One of these countries had Scott Morrison as PM. One didn't.

Political radar is something some have, some don't.

The two best in my lifetime were Hawke and , once he got his s**t sorted in the 90s, Howard.

Today Scomo tells the antivaxxer protestors in Canberra that mandates are a state issue. He had a chance to show genuine leadership, empathise with them but push the message of a national plan that allows us to move forward together.

Instead "that's an issue for the states"
