And of course a a trading of picks. Potentially a first round pick swap.

I have a source inside the club that i'm not prepared to name. But the justification is that he will not be around for the next premiership tilt, the trade will bring in a player who will sure up Collingwoods spine for a decade and fulfils Adelaide's need for midfield depth in their quest for a premiership in the upcoming few years.

That and they need a smoking gun to beat out Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs for Levers services.

Odds that she would want to move to Adelaide?

It would be a controversial trade but it would actually work for both parties.

Crows need an elite mid to help out Sloane while they are in the window.

Collingwood are done for the rest of Pendlebury's career and have no key defender prospects. They could build a backline around Lever, midfield around Grundy and Treloar and forward line around Moore.

But yeah why would Pendlebury uproot his life in Melbourne, couldn't see it.

It would make sense from a pure timeline perspective, Collingwood get their key defender, and Adelaide get a midfielder close enough to his prime to take some pressure off Sloane, while they are in the window to target a flag.

But I doubt Pendles will uproot his Melbourne life to move over to Adelaide.

It's unlikely but it would benefit both parties. To the extent where I don't want it to happen :p

After Mitchell went to wce anything is possible. I bet you will continue to see some crazy trading

Hasn't Pendles wife just had a lid, he wont be going anywhere outside Melbourne.

Going to be a 300 game Premiership player, Norm Smith winner, and most importantly captain, and this is how they treat him?

Says a lot about the Collingwood footy club right there

It is made up BS and you are posting like it has already happened....

So the real story is a Melbourne supporter heads off to the snow on the weekend thinking Melbourne will beat the Crow's easy so no need to watch the game. Melbourne supporter gets home from snow trip to find out the Crow's destroyed his demon's. Melbourne supporter decides to get on the sauce to drown his sorrows and make up a rumour about Collingwood to make him self feel better about life. As soon as you read a swap of first round picks is where everyone call's bs to the story but you made a solid effort.

Did you know pig's really do fly.

Mate, i have no idea which picks will be swapped and traded because i've only been told that an in principle agreement had been made that the players would be traded for one another, hence why i added 'potentially' to the sentence. It would seem the most plausible but i could be wrong about the first round picks.
