What did the Hawks get from this killer deal pick 75 that ended up pick 71 after other clubs passed. Pick 71 becomes Jackson Ross who spent 3 years on the list getting delisted without playing a game

Putting yourself in a tough spot.. is a good way to find out where you're at. Rather than just using Pendlebury so it makes you feel like your snug like a bug in a rug.

I look at say Allan Border who had a great cover drive that would bullet to the boundary,And his last few years the same shot would not make the boundary.
But yes a different game players where lining up to replace Border.
We have not developed any mids in the last 3 years knowing Pendles and Sidebottom are playing against father time.

At stoppage, he's not often the hitting target, if we get it his job is to get into position to receive. If they get it his job is to lock them up. He's the one in the best position to defend and is not as good at locking it up anymore.

We traded our first round picks in 2015 and 2016 for Treloar. Might have something to do with it.

You're basically opening up another spot for someone to put their hand up and say I want this ****en spot. For someone man enough and brave enough to take it. I see more value in that than anything else.

The point again, I’m happy to agree to disagree. Those elements were never a strong suit imho and haven’t changed. I think people are inventing non-issues.

Our issue has been that our nugget of a coach wont put that responsibility on kids.

Not until this year have i seen pendles out of the midfield. Both he and sidey should have been doing this the last couple of years to preserve them and blood kids.

I think he'll still be around for a few more years if he wants to be - but on a wing. Have him do a Chris Mayne and train fully for endurance and just run up and down and linking up and distributing all day from a wing.

And made 42 against South Africa in 1994 in Durban the 3rd test match.
