They attract people who ignore social distancing and don’t bother with masks because they’re “eating and drinking” for hours at a time. The kids at playgrounds are not the issue.
Does this not happen at shopping centres? The twits who have their mask at half height and those carrying a seemingly endless cup of coffee so they must have their masks below their mouth as they're drinking is of more concern imo. And this includes idiots working at woolworths / coles who I've seen do this.

Start fining f***ing everyone who flouts the rules and stop this selective bullshit of we need them to co-operate. I mean $200 for those imbecile NSW removalists, give me a spell. Fine everyone $1800 or whatever it is, follow through and send a message.

Might be a good idea to check the number of current Victorian cases that are under 19 years of age before more people join Pendles looking like cretins.

For the lazy ones it's almost half.

Yeah, it does. Hence why you can shop around for essentials, and everything else is click-and-collect.

And I agree about the fines; they need to be enforced or they may as well not exist. It absolutely does send the wrong message.

Plot twist: the kids won’t give a sh*t because they’ll just get to play on their Nintendo switch instead but it’s the gossipy parents who actually are upset.

Nothing but net!

This is my point, a lot of essential shops are being visited maskless (as they're drinking a never-ending coffee) so I think thats more of an issue than an external playground, albeit yes parents also loiter.

And also that school that started this wave was involved in activities with other schools (which is why 2 others shut down straight away with no cases) which was clearly in breach of government regulations but nothing further there.

Nothing agst your comments nor is this directed at you but ffs lets stamp this out and fine all f**kers breaching this not just a few here and there. A lot of people (majority) are doing the right thing while others think they're above the law and, transgress and then don't get punished. If that's followed through, more people may point people out also.

Can't wait until Dan is dragged to The Hague for daring to use democratic powers in the name of public health.

Justice will be done.
Certainly doing a better job this year than last. A bit late for some unfortunately.

I agree but that’s an enforcement issue, not a regulatory one.

Lots of kids are asymptomatic too and never get tested
Absolutely nothing to do with anything I said and completely ignores the fact they spread it.

Great pearl of wisdom, do you have any more?

Totally agree with Pendles. Absolute idiocy by Dan to shut Playgrounds.
what spread are the toddlers causing at Playgrounds?
Kids playing closely together is a risk. Parents using playgrounds as an excuse to catch up is also a risk.
It’s pretty clear that restrictions have to be tightened.
Pendles should not be commenting as he represents the club.

FMD, get a grip people.

Parks etc being shut is an absolute disgrace.

The power has gone to Dictator Dan's head and he needs to meet a bigger flight of stairs asap.

And we’re the ones needing to get a grip, yeah?

Last time I checked the Collingwood FC was not a branch of the ALP, as much as McChins would have loved that

No different to anyone else using Twitter, he is allowed to have an opinion on whatever he likes, same as you or or anyone else who uses Twitter.

Indeed and too right.

And like everyone else on social media, he can be shouted down for that opinion by all and sundry, especially when that opinion is a thoughtless brain fart which suggests he doesn't know what he's talking about.

When Pendles speaks about something like this he risks it being seen as Collingwood’s position.
He should probably avoid commenting on this sort of thing.
