IMO, this guy will be no good, i hope he proves me wrong, collingwood picked him up because of his athletic/basketballing background, thats all good if it was the NBL, why do Collingwood draft so bad, e need Greg Miller or sumone like that to steady our draft/trading negotiations, cos they are just ********.
LMAO idiot
Give the guy a chance first ... Sheesh.
I'm sure the Pies recruitiers now a fair bit more about football than you.
celtic pride impressive foresight
You do not need Greg Miller. He is severely overated, I dont know how people think he is some gun. Greg Miller himself thinks he is a gun but I dont know how everyone else got conned. What has Miller actually achieved that has made him so highly regarded?
HAHAHAHAHA Greg Miller HAHAHAHAHA i raise you tambling JON and all the other Miller love childs
Yeh, im sorta with poppa, i must say he is not bad at footy but should not have gone number 5. and i hear he loves himself really bad.
Im glad you agreed with poppa lol

Good bump:thumbsu:

Pendlebury isn't just justifying his position at number 5, he probably should have gone number 1 and most would agree is proving to be a better player than Murphy.
Then you wake up to see Murphy thread a kick and a handpass from an impossible position to produce two goals for the Blues.

Most people who would agree that Pendlebury is better than Murphy listen to Mike Sheahan and have no idea.

Oh, the "impossible" position.

Let me see, last time I checked we have an abundance of players who thread the "impossible" so frequently that it's become natural.

Also, Pendles' hands in traffic is elite. Cannot touch him.
I rate Murphy but he is not better than Pendles. Clear #1 out of that draft.

"Impossible" position? Well, that's enough for me. It's impossible, but somehow Murphy can do it, and nobody else in the league, or world, can. Geez, if we're going to talk about doing things from impossible positions, then Dale Thomas is the best player from the draft. And if we're talking about inside heavy traffic as "impossible", then it's Pendlebury. :thumbsu:

Murphy was barely seen for the first half when the game was actually up for grabs, but he dominated in the second half when the game was all done and dusted.

29 touches in 66% game time, and he copped a tag when he was on.

Also, 9 marks, 8 contested possessions, 4 tackles, 5 clearances, 7 first possessions, 3 inside 50s, 3 rebound 50s, 4 1%ers, and just 1 error.

That's epic.

IMO he will be alright.

But not as a midfielder.
He is bottom aged and already 190cm. By the time he is right to play he will be 19-20 yrs old and 193-4 cm.

They same happend to us when we F/S Jobe Watson. I'm not saying they are similar players, but we drafted Jobe as a tall midfielder and then he grew to 194cm. That is why he is taking so long to develope, because our coaches have to teach him how to play key position. His results for Bendigo late last year were encouraging and he should come through to the seniors in the next year or two.

I feel Pendelbury will be the same, slo to develope but shoud come through.
take it easy on your heights mate. jobs is 190 and pendles is 191
