Played his 50th game today! :thumbsu:

Is turning into a quality player who can shut down a key opponent, He had 21 possies today along with 9 tackles whilst keeping Hill to 16 possesions, and to be honest i barely noticed Hill today at all.

Congrats on notching up the 50th Scooter :thumbsu:

Love the way he goes about his business :)

Would be in my top 5 in our best and fairest and hes one of the best taggers in the game. Easily the 2nd best Selwood.

Thank god we got pick 36 (which turned into 20) for Morton so we could get him

i dont even think he was on hill at all today?

i swear he was on mundy for the first part of the game and he got pantsed.

im a scooter fan though, gives his all and has become a good midfield runner for us too.

his disposal is generally very good, he's a good kick over 35m. hits those targets with low stabbing balls.

his tackling is fantastic, you know you're going to get 100% with him.

he's pretty much slotted right into the stenglein role. strong tackling tagger who picks up 20 touches starting in the centre.

God i'm glad we got rid of Morton, had we kept him we probably would have got Cale who sounds like he's got an ego as big as his brothers.

Continues to add to his offensive game which shows he doesn't want to be a one-dimensional player. Always hard at the contest and gives it his all. Good on ya.

Read his pre-draft scouting report which highlighted his typical Selwood toughness but interestingly rated him the best athlete out of his brothers, even Joel. Not so polished but upside was enormous. I knew we found a gem.

Thought he had a average game today but yep, good accomplishment getting to the half century at only 21. Everyone saw the potential when he completely shut down Stephen Hill in his debut and he has consistently improved to warrant selection unlike others.

Well done, Scooter.

He's really using the fend-off now, which is nice to see.
It's a luxury to have a tagger with a bit of attacking prowess and flair.

There was a passage of play when he just put on the afterburners and shot down the opposite wing of subi; does some great things when he is played in an attacking role.

Both Scott Selwood and Priddis are in the top 5 in the AFL for tackles per game.

One funny thing Cox, Kennedy and Lynch are all equal 9th in Contested marks per game.

SSelwood is also 5th in the league for inside 50m tackles - not bad for a midfielder.

Would love it if Cox and Nait could start plucking those contested grabs deep in the forward line

Next Kane Cornes. Not as good a tagger as Adam (who I rate as the best in the game), but will hopefully develop into a guy like Kane who beats his opponent and is really involved offensively.

He's still rough around the edges BUT...

If you thought our tackling pressure was the key to victory vs. Bulldogs (like it has been all year), then you have to appreciate the man who has led us in that respect.

A relentless 14 tackles, moving him to no.3 in the competition. His defensive work is his source of pride. He knows what butters his bread and he has perfected the art of tackling.

Sometimes he reminds me of a lion latching on to an escaping buffalo, like David Attenborough should be doing a voice over. He really does have a vice-like grip and rarely misses tackles.
