Port Adelaide
PORT ADELAIDE members and supporters will be given the chance to catch the club’s practice game against Adelaide on Saturday online with the game to be streamed live.
Supporters will not be allowed entry to Alberton Oval under an AFL directive so the clubs have come together to provide digital access to the match and ensure nobody misses out on the action.

The game gets underway at 11:00am.
The stream will be available on the club’s website at portadelaidefc.com.au.

More details including the makeup of the commentary team will be communicated later in the week.

The Crows and Power will also clash in a SANFL practice match commencing at 8.30am ACDT.

I wonder if this will be one of those Under-23 games. If so, given recent behaviour from the Crows we can expect to see David Mackay suiting up for them.

There’s lots of guys vying for a few spots , Bergman , Jones , Bonner trying to squeeze into defence , McKenzie and Clurey seemingly battling it out for full back . Hartlett and Burton trying to hang on to their spots .
Motlop trying to stay in the forward line , George trying to get in . Marshall trying to stay in . Orazio trying to get in . Even Robbie has to perform or he could be managed
Hayes trying to get in . Ladhams and Lycett trying to stay in . Farrell and Woodcock pushing their case . Rockliff trying to stay in . Mead and Drew trying to make a case . Garner and Mayes trying to make sure they’re first ones in if there is injuries.
Should make for a strong effort , I guess they’ll rotate heaps of players especially in the second half .

Expecting a breakout 6 possession game from Chayce Jones, we might need to tag him

Figured it would be good to have a thread about this weeks scratch match at Alberton against the crows.

Hoping RAA will get behind it again so we bods can have a look.

(Will update details as they are made public.)
Is it going to be between the clubs’ SANFL or AFL sides?

The original date for this was Saturday the 27th, 8:30am at Alberton, no entry allowed.

I reckon this will be between AFL sides since we only have 1-2 trial games, while the SANFL side has 3 trial games.

I'm predicting we'll go in with a strong team. Not sure how deep the bench will be, or if McKenzie will be fit.

Heard Rowey say on AA this morning that he's heard that the Perth match against Wet Toast the following week will be canned as the AFL don't want clubs travelling so close to the season starting

Another trial game slated against the Tingles in lieu

Yay

Kochie all but confirms it with his "I can neither confirm nor deny" BS. He also states that we will be live streaming the game this week, but no entry for spectators "due to all the Covid stuff" :drunk:
