Is there any other charges that Libba has been done in for ??? Let's see if he can go for one of of these before he retires :
Spitting ( Chris Lewis )
Biting ( Chris Lewis )
Stomping ( Dermot Brereton )
Kneeing ( Tony Francis )
Anal Probing ( John Hopoate )
Man-handling an Umpire ( Chris Johnson and Diesel )

Only 6 more to go and counting Libba you Dirty Rotten Scoundrel

How many times was he suspended though?

Just because someone was charged doesn't mean they were guilty.

There's something very weird about this whole episode.
Someone is lying and this really bugs me.
Leigh Matthews is right, footballers should forget this "silent code" that exists now and come clean.
And just as importantly, more cameras should be placed strategically around the ground to capture any incidents off the ball.
Cheers

Couldn't agree more. I mean, in this case, Libba was tried and hung even BEFORE he was suspended, simply because of his prior record, and as you pointed out, just words. With the game advancing so much in recent years, it does amaze me that we still have these incidents that are not recorded. I doubt the 'silent code' will ever be truly broken (a male ego issue perhaps) but I do think that more cameras should be trained on players, whether on the ball or not, if the AFL is truly serious about these investigations. It can't just be 'my word against his', it's not good enough.

If you watched THE PRACTICE on monday they mentioned just because you've been found not guilty doesn't mean you are innocent.

Errr Ummmm Didn't Libba plead GUILTY ??
This means he has admitted to the charge. What part of guilty don't people understand ?

I was talking about the previous charges. You brought them up didn't you?

For some of them he didn't get found guilty. So it's not really fair to use them.

Let's not forget Greg Williams kneeing of Norths Dean Laidley a few years back during either 95 or 96 season. He kneed Mr Laidley stright in the thigh. Not suprisingly williams was rubbed out for several matches.

For some reason I was under the impression that this topic was going to be about Bulldogs training session...

Essendon, the most powerful and best run club in the league.

He has admitted to striking, which many players have done, off the ball even.
To call him a king-hitter is something else again, and quite a bit more serious than simply striking.
There wouldn't be one Dogs supporter who wouldn't admit that he has hit him, we just don't think he is a king-hit merchant.

I personally think that he is playing one year too many, Its time for him to retire. Bradley is playing on because he can still have an influence on a game while staying fair but Libba now has to go for underground tactice to influence games.

What was he self defending ?
The puff of smoke which suddenly through itself into the path of Libba ?
Simple facts really;
He whacked him, pleady guilty, and got exactly what he bloody well deserved.

And all this after he said that he didn't do it. Not only a sniper, but a bullshitartist as well.
I don't necessarily blame him though afterall, the dickhead coaching him condones this type of behaviour.
