And that's why he is loved - he is a dad and a decent bloke off the field and a fierce competitor on the field. One or two Eagles are fierce competetitors on the field but apparently not decent blokes off field. As a father myself, I have absolute respect for the fact that Arch put aside competitive advantage to speak his mind.

Who would want their son to go to the Eagles? Arch was spot on there. They are a disgrace to the league the way they have handled the situation.

Absolute disgrace...I was at the game with an eagles supporter of mine and we both couldnt work out why he was being booed! Grow up Eagles supporters! Achknowledge true champions when you see them....Well done Arch...you are a credit to our great club!

I agree 100% just trying see both sides. In all honesty though, do you think Archer gives a toss whether oppositions fans like him or not? :D

We are West Coast supporters first, and he has done nothing for our club except sink the boot in when we were getting hammered from all sides.

The thing that pissed people off was that if his son ever played AFL it would be for the Kangas presumably, so the statement was totally unneccessary.
 
1/ Glen Archer is a legend of the modern era and regardless of some comments in relation to an acknowledge issue of substance abuse at the WCE he deserved respek from the sand gropers

2/ For 3q's the NMFC took it up to the WCE in their sand pit and were only 18 points down at the final break.

3/ The WCE kicked 8 unanswered goals in the last q. NMFC's game in that q simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

4/ In August WCE play us in our play pen at the Dome, i for one am looking forward to seeing the NMFC play a full 4q's of footy and sending the WCE home on the red eye filght (ie: crying!)

It wouldn't be such an issue if you didn't boo every decent player that dares to step onto Subiaco for another team.
Hird, Carey, Brereton, etc.
It is just childish.
So Archer said one thing that pricked your sensitive hide, get over it.
 
Geez grow up. Our 2 cheersquads booed him. Everyone just joined in by the 4th qtr because well the game was boring and we were coasting it. Non story

Just bury your head in the abundant amount of sand Perth has to offer, it is everyones business when a player (one of many WCE have) brings our game to that level, take a look at yourselves and get off the gear.

We pay money to be at the game. We can boo/cheer who we want. Cousins is gonna be booed everytime he gets near the ball for the rest of his life but I still wont give a crap
