Honestly you reckon West Coast supporters have over reacted by booing Archer, but what type of supporters of our club would we be if we just cheered and clapped politely at any opposition player who decided to take a swipe at us? Kerr, Hunter, Judd, Chick, Waters, Selwood are all players that have been booed by different teams in recent times. Worsfold, Sumich, Jacko etc got plenty of booings in times gone by (please note they are legends of our club, but we understand if opposition supporters dont share our enthusiasm). How many West Coast supporters are starting threads about how other supporters are childish? Its part of the game, no hard feelings.

Archer has had his medicine, if he comes back next year to play, we promise to clap every time he gets a possession against us.:p
 
We actually play the Eagles again in only a few weeks believie it or not, at home. In fact this years draw has some oddities about it. But nevertheless both teams will be at full strength, or near enough, and we'll be well beyond the loss that we needed to have and was coming anyway. We were (in particular) defensively a joke today. At leawt we've discovered some things to work on before the next meet.

Either way I'm disappointed, and pretty stuffed. So thats the end of my continual banter.

But seriously as if you would want your son to go to Perth. Shit hole of a city and basically an embarrassment to Australia. In fact I really shouldn't even be calling it a city, it pretends to be one but clearly isn't.

It's just typical of the small town mentality in Perth and Adelaide. Newsflash - you're going OK on top of the ladder - there is a thing called class, especially when you're winning. The fact is that the club is generating more than enough bad press to worry about what some player says - why aren't you booing Kerr or Selwood????? They (and all their buddies ) did way more to create negativity for your club than archer.
Also, Arch's kid is sick as everyone knows and he's an icon of the game - universally respected. Surely you'd give him a free pass on whatever he said but no---Absolute LOOOOOOOSERS.

What a hypocrite, I have no doubt you got all flustered and up in arms last year with the Judd-Freo crowd thing, as did all the precious Eagles supporters.

I agree that it was very disrespectful of the Eagles fans, but am not surprised this has given some small-minded Vic idiots a chance to attack the city/state and not just the team and it's supporters :eek:

it's not Glen who's damaging your brand (which would be "things go better with coke") or convincing the parents mate, it's your "stars" running around (or away from the police), snorting up all the snow white, hanging out with known drug dealers in nightclubs, being taped talking to dealers, assaulting their girlfriends and various taxi drivers. need we say more?

no one at our club doing that mate. well except for one guy. and we got him from you lot of coke snorting wife beaters!
 
IF WCE has any 'off-field' credibility, I'd think they'd delist BC and get what they can for him. North did just that with Carey. It's called moral responsibility. If WCE fans that boo'ed Arch are proud of what they did, good on them...it's thier obligation to carry on like classless hypocrits. Too bad alot of them needed to be that way. Why embrace the drug culture...that's the bottom line that much of these ignorant fools in the crowd failed to acknowledge about Arch's comments at the time. Arch talks thru the heart not thru his nose. Shame for some WCE fans. NO IDEA!

Hes a ornament to North Melbourne not West Coast. Cousins is a ornamnent to Eagles but it wont stop him from being booed. It happens. If your gonna bad mouth our club when its none of your business then expect reprecussions. If Judd came out and said North is a dirty hole id expect him to get booed to and wouldnt whinge about it either

Let's not forget there was an almighty outcry when Judd was booed by Freo fans.
Anyway, my point is that booing is just stupid.
Go along, cheer for your team, go spare at the umps, show passion, all good.
But booing is infantile and pointless.
I don't like it when anyone does it, but it happens, in my experience, more often at Subi than anywhere else.

If you're saying Cousins is an ornament to WCE in the same breath that Archer is to North, perhaps to not understanding this.

Yeh our cheersquad blow ass. All Eagles fans know that. By the 4th everyone just decided to join in really. If you were at the game you will notice how the level of booing picked up ALOT by the last. By the end it was just harmless fun really. I doubt Arch cares, It was talked up a bit during the week though.
