Current venues (so not including ones that are out of action now, i.e. Accor Stadium, Optus Oval, Waverley etc).Registered user Scythe has kindly agreed to review a wide range of AFL stadiums.
Can't wait to hear all the details, Scythe - over to you!![]()
NOW WE'RE SITTING ON TOADSTOOLS WITH THE SAME GROUP OF FAIRIES.Current venues (so not including ones that are out of action now, i.e. Accor Stadium, Optus Oval, Waverley etc).
#1 – MCG (has to be, for obvious reasons).
#T-2 – Engie Stadium (I'm biased, but I think it's a great place to watch footy and the food is by far the best off all venues I've been to). Bit of a pain to get to, though.
#T-2 – Adelaide Oval (beautiful stadium, and the hill is a nice touch. Lots of South Australians, though).
#4 – TIO Stadium, Darwin (only went once, but was fun and the surface is unreal).
#5 – SCG (not the greatest viewing experience if you're not in the members stand – sun is blinding and the ground is super domed so you can't see the other side at ground level. Still better than what's to come, though).
#6 – Marvel Stadium (soulless and generally either too cold or too hot).
#7 – Ninja Stadium, Hobart (bit of fun as a novelty, but an absolute wind tunnel and frightfully cold).
#8 – GMHBA Stadium (terrible in every way – bad atmosphere, silly shape, poor facilities [before the redevelopment], bad food, usually cold, and I think I've only ever seen Melbourne win there once).
Haven't been to: Optus Stadium, GABBA, Metricon Stadium, Manuka Oval and some of the smaller ones.
Hope this helps!
Off the top of my head:NOW WE'RE SITTING ON TOADSTOOLS WITH THE SAME GROUP OF FAIRIES.
Completely agree re: temperature at Docklands. What food options are there at ENGIE?

Let's make our own stadium, Scythe!Off the top of my head:
Overall, it's an entirely different culinary experience. Other venues are missing out
- Really good GF burger joint (nice for people like me)
- Greek Street
- Regular burger joints
- Chicken Schnitzel Theatre
- Nachos
- Sushi Hub
- Kebabs
- Pie shop
- Absurdly good hot dog place with good variety
- Homemade-style pizza place
- Some place that sells really good gnocchi
- Plus a rotating mix of food trucks etc.
Great ranking list but where are the stats?Current venues (so not including ones that are out of action now, i.e. Accor Stadium, Optus Oval, Waverley etc).

This one is definitely going on the watch listI've reviewed eight so far!
