I'm pretty sure part of his 12 goal spree at school footy level was against a KP player who was drafted last year. Dunno if he got 40 posessions.

Eitherway, those who haven't seen him yet are gunna love him. He's a good new fashioned gun!!

Yeah he kicked 12 in a school game on a CHB kid who was drafted to Freo. That kid said Rusling was the best player he played on all year including school, club and national champs. Freo took him about #50 - can't remember his name.
 
Living in Adelaide and playing footy at Adelaide Uni i have been asking around if anyone had heard of Rusling prior to being drafted, no one yet had but he did go to possibly the best footy school in Aus and certainly SA.

Just about any gun player out of SA went there. Pavlich was a recent one.

Sacret Heart i think its called. Ill ask tonight at footy practice.


Im not from SA so i dont pay much attention when they talk about schools

That is totally incorrect. Sean attended Westminster. He also played for West Adelaide under 17s in 2003 and one game in their reserves in 2004. Was always highly rated and expected to be drafted by the West Adelaide officials.
 
I think his school convinced him to concentrate on studying and play for the school side and that's why he only played the one SANFL Reserves game to qualify.
I thought he either had a 40 possesion game or a 12 goal game I don't know.
 
No one saw it so we may aswell start our own legend

40 possesions AND 12 goals in the same game
 
I hear he went straight from the game to an athletics meet and broke the world record for the 100m sprint except Eddie paid the media to keep it quiet so we could draft him with a lower pick. Then Rusling kicked him in the face for no reason but Eddie didn't care because he was so impressed with his athleticism. True story.
 
And he's been up his Mum and his legless sister and he thinks he killed his old man!!
