Well here it is. My completely biased and probably completely incorrect top 20 posters for next season. The posters must be eager, active and to be in the absolute best, need to be involved in the controversey. Not only is activity required, but they must create further activity. That, makes them valuable. Here are my apologies to those who missed the boat:

UNLUCKY

Fred- Couldn’t squeeze him in surprisingly.
EBIAC – Easily top 20 last season but has stood down as captain and appears to be taking a backseat in the Demons quest for success now. If he returns to his best will easily be back in. Would be a shame to lose his activity.
Roughie - Probably needs more activity.
Drewsy- Massive potential to be in the top 20, needs to live up to it.
Joe King – Looks really involved in the Demons step up, wouldn’t suprise me. BiPolar Bear – I think he is drunk every time he posts. Which is funny.
Equus – Couldn’t believe I left Equus out as I just have a feeling we will see more next season.
GilbertHodge, Hawks1523, Perth Swans- All can take it to another level.
Pie4life and Chezwick - My two teammates are both underrated, but it is hard for me to tell whether they will be top 20 or not until the season starts. I have underrated them myself by leaving them out, but I get the feeling they may prove me wrong. Both very good posters
Tarks – When posting regularly, is in the best 20. Unsure if his RFFL commitments will hold him back.
Frankston Rover- Some great work on the MS paint thread, and a former great of this comp, will he come back to his best?
Mobbenfuhrer – We will have to see how the Roys shape up!
Kerrby – Verbal diarrhea, sometimes I think he is actually good for the league, sometimes I think he has the IQ of a door. Too much difference between his best and worst.

TOP 20
20- Breeno – Maybe a mass Breeno underrating. Funnily, I think his best is top ten quite easily. Whether he can sustain his best with long periods of full league-wide activity or not? That’s anyone’s guess. Mine is that he will be the 20th best poster in the league. I’m not comfortable with it, but it will do. Needs more league-wide posting and then could be a gun.
19-BILC – Highly rated, and hasn’t gone unnoticed. The one thing holding him back is league activity. Maybe coming out of the fury cave a little more and generating some league discussion. If someone can entice BILC out of his shell, I will be happy J
18- Peterrs – Despite what you may think, I am actually a massive fan of the Gumbies’ spiritual leader. Number 18 seems too low for a man of his calibre. However I get the feeling that Peterrs’ focus will be the Gumbies and his league activity may be dropping off a little. Quality poster.
17- Croweater41 – Despite what he may think, I am actually a fan of CE most of the time. 17 seems too low. However, IMO, he needs to have more of an opinion and maybe go against Doggies or Rick or Boncer or LJP once in a while if that is what he thinks. I have always thought he is more of a follower than a leader but I see that as changing. Could go higher.
16- BigBadBuddy – If Cats2Rise is ineligible due to past experience, BBB will win the EKA medal at his current rate. Has been amazing in recruiting and sheer activity. The league needs activity and BBB is certainly active.

15- amos – Has had a really active pre-season and there is something I love about his posts. Maybe it’s the humour or how he works adult humour into most of the posts...If we see a lot of him, amos could quite easily break my top 10. One of my favourite posters around here actually.
14- sausageroll – The Bomber’s captain, respected and quality poster. Could improve activity a little bit and maybe see more of him in the controversey.
13-Cormick – With an active team behind him, Cormick’s quality will be a standout for the Dragons. Could easily do better than 13, will all depend if he can keep up in what will be an active season.
12-cooney – The newly appointed captain will have another standout season gaining further league profile. Cooney will do his all for the Demons and posting has improved. Look out for him.
11- Cats2Rise – Big ego. This league thrives on it. Since his re-entrance he has taken the league by storm and has already managed to twist the truth into lies boncer style. I predict he will maintain it and be a great acquisition for the Demons.

10- Pacemaker – Had a massive impact in a short amount of time. Pissess some people off which is quite entertaining. If sustained for a whole season, Pacemaker will have a massive season
9- Rick18 - People won’t like this, but I think Rick was just a little overrated last season based on past glories. I felt that Rick’s last year was dishing out too much advice/criticism of others and not enough action, as opposed to Boncer who managed to back up that style of posting better. Rick’s activity wasn’t as large as it could have been and although he certainly created some, there are signs that maybe he has begun to slide in terms of posting activity. Nevertheless, Rick has an aura about him and when he is high in activity he certainly can be a top 3 poster. Rumour is that if the wonders won the premiership, Rick was headed to the Hawks. I just get a feeling that the Wonders and Rick are on a bit of a slide. I hope they prove me wrong.
8- Zainta – EKA medallist is only getting better. Aims to break into the top 20 and I predict he will. Enough said.
7- Hawk Patrol – HP is a quality poster who some may argue I have put too high. I rate HP, but maybe that is just the full-forward in me. Says what he thinks.
6- Tim_Saints – Timmy was the biggest name to burst onto the scene last year but polled surprisingly low in the EKA medal. However his posting quality has immensely improved as the year has gone on, and I expect he still has some improvement. He gets into it, does Timmy.

5- Doggiesin08 – He Sims the games so really, as admin, I had to have him in the top 5. Creates activity by running the whole competition really.
4- Okeydoke7 – Arrogance or confidence? Overrating myself or underrated by others? If I put myself at number 1 there would be outcry, and if I put myself ahead of Boncer I would be hearing about it all year. So I will settle with 4th. I know that I am set for a massive 2010. I may have a quiet off-season by my standards, but once we get into the season proper I will be at my best. I say what I think whether people believe I am whinging or not.
3- Boncer- The consummate prick will be back, bigger and better than ever next season. I say this because his season 2009 was, believe it or not, a bad season for him activity wise. I predict the same old Boncer next season, but with more overall activity. The way he is gearing up for the season makes me think he has another big one left in him. He shows no signs of slowing down as has the ability to twist truth into lies and never admits when he is wrong. All these things make him one of the biggest names in the league.
2- LJP86- He has long held the position as the number 1 player and poster and is highly regarded. LJP is a magnificent captain, now in charge of a youthful, energetic team. For this reason, I predict LJP will stay lively, as he will have to in order to keep up with all the young ones! Dishes out a spray when he has to, and goes about his business with no fuss.
1- EFL Boy – Call me crazy, but I think EFL Boy is set for an amazing year. Overtaking LJP is a big feat, but one that EFL is more than capable of. LJP has been the dominant on-field and off-field leader, but EFL’s raw activity is set to continue in 2010. EFL is a proven poster, widely respected and I see no signs of this dropping off. However I expect season 2010 to be the season where EFL will venture out of his shell a bit more. To create activity, you have to be involved in the controversy. You may appear to make enemies, but this game isn’t about making friends. EFL has taken the SFA by storm, and I think next year, possibly the SFA’s most active ever, will see him explode.

I'm very proud of number 8. That's my highest out of the 3 lists, but at the end of next season, I'll try to go even higher!

(just completely ignoring actual thread topic as if the countdown didn't happen)

Yeah but there is a complete lack of numbers and the drought has screwed everything around.

We're just in recess!!!!! All we need to do is find out WTF happened to Marnoo's money (they had a fair bit when they folded) and steal it. And the rape and pillage Navarre of their players, beat up Swifts for some of theirs, maybe pinch a few from Ararat, even Natte. We'll be in business.

On that note when I came through Moonambel the other week I noticed there was some work being done on the clubrooms there (Cricket I assume) so they're ready to go!

Haha ... yeah well I think Marnoo will tell you they're just in recess too, its an infinite term these days :) ... I do believe they would probably still have the money, much to Rupanyup's chagrin :D ... lots of 'beautification' stuff has happened around the 'Noo in recent years, and I believe the local support groups (eg the footy club supp group etc) are bankrolling a lot of it.

Maybe a combined Landsborough-Marnoo-Moonambel reform ... err playing out of Green's Creek? :D

In seriousness, such a shame to see the damage that citification, centralisation, unemployment and drought has done to the social opportunities in smaller centres. I swear an old-style, seniors only, small comp here and there would get things happening again in some places. No frills, no thrills, and most importantly; no insurance!

Same thing killed the Sweet FA's Dingoes after 2001!:footy:

Cheers, Okey.

I am looking to make a position my own and will dominate the opposition in whichever position that may be.

So yeah, Season 2010 is mine.
