Hey guys, nothing set in stone yet, however, 14 rounds H&A would be the easiest IMO as I'm probably leaving to travel in May.

Any suggestions though or ideas can go here and will be considered.

Also atm I'm thinking Final 4 only instead of 5. And as said in another thread it'd be 1v4 and 2v3 with the lowest place loser being eliminated and the highest place winner going directly to the Grand Final. The Lowest place winner would then play the Highest placed Loser in the 2nd week of finals.

ALSO, loking for anyone keen and able to run the pre-season competition in December. The early 2010 season (if its only 14 weeks can only assume there will be another 2010 season or at least 2010-2011) will likely be my last as admin and so keen to see who would be in line for taking over and would be a good chance for them to get a feel for it.

Also means I don't have to fix my sim too soon:D and will be able to get the stats off the sim this year without having it stuffed by the Pre Season stats.

Pointless system.

For argument's sake, let's say the higher numbers win each game. So 1 defeats 4 and 2 defeats 3. 1 goes straight through to the GF with 4 eliminated. That means 2 and 3 play each other again in the preliminary final after already meeting in the semis. It also means only one team is guaranteed a double chance.

The system should be like every other top four system,

Second Semi: 1 vs 2
First Semi: 3 vs 4

Preliminary Final: Loser Second Semi vs Winner First Semi

Grand Final: Winner Second Semi vs Winner Preliminary Final

Yeah i agree, this system seems more logical if there is going to be a final 4 finals

Yes, LJP's system works well. I am a massive fan of top 4 I have been pushing for it for a while. :thumbsu:

Oh, and I would love to put my hand up for the pre-season comp running, except i have tried a few times to download the sim to no effect and tried today but it doesn't seem to work for me on Vista even though I have downloaded all relative files. Any advice anyone?

I may be able to do the Pre-season competition as i have Windows XP.....Itll have to be at the end of my uni semester and exams though....Its week 11 at the moment so 2 more weeks left followed by 2 weeks of exams!

Will try download the sim when i get the time and if it works then i will put my hand up to do the pre-season comp :)
