I wonder what happened to the entertaining and controversial poster 'The Finger'. Hasn't posted here in over a year. He certainly used to liven up the forum, although some people didn't seem to appreciate him. Personally, I thought he was great, and my fiancee also enjoyed the finger.

According to this weeks local paper Wandin have signed Joel Coombes and according to the article he is a very well credentialed player. I can't help but thinking that even though Wandin is building a fair list, it seems to be at the chagrin of other clubs and that we may be in for a bit of a boring season. Yes, there will probably be a bit of interest in who gets fourth and fifth spot and who gets relegated but at the very top end; forget it.

I can see Wandin absolutely smashing some teams this year and then romping to a fairly one sided finals series. But then what? They (Wandin) will beat their chests saying how good they are, whilst the rest of the competition will be asking how they compete. Seems to have a bit of "Silvan" writen all over it.

BOOBLOODYBOO, who cares if Wandin want to go down that path. We all know how it will up and by then weddings will be paid for and trips had. Would be interesting to see the turnover figures of players over the last three seasons.

thats a fair chip you have on your shoulder LK....explain your silvan quote?? Wandin havent won anything for years, and are no certainties this year.

Warby have signed 2 from tassie there names are Paul Hudson and Adam Joyce both played in the highest league not sure how good though also chasing a gun onballer from northcote park good mates with Dylan Gorden from the nt

Gee biteme, you certainly live up to your forum name. I've posted twice about Wandin and you've had a crack back both times. First I was a moron, now I need to grow up! And to think that you said earlier in this thread that the anger management classes were going well.

I really couldn't care less about how Wandin go about their business, so no chip on my shoulder. And do you really think that there's no similarity between what Silvan did a few years back and what Wandin are doing now? I may need to grow up, but you certainly need to wise up.
