O'K' thought id get in early , seasons now shot for us . How do we go forward from here ? , in which area is improvement most needed , is it Coaching , recruiting , fitness , skills or a mixture ? , do we start culling now ?. The season we have had up to date has been at times disgracefull , why wait to find remedies till later ?. One thing though if KH comes out and says our game plan is o'k' and he's going to persist with it and keep backing the same clanger merchants , the club , KT or whoever better remind him that contracts can and are broken ! , end of rant , have ya say.

We need to recruit another ruckman so we can have three going up at each contest. We also need a second tall forward to play on the wing. Kern pls...

I honestly don't think a lot needs to change. Sure maybe trade a few but I think it starts with the preseason. Don't crap on about how Burgess has turned them into supermen, take the NAB cup seriously (ken actually coaches the team) and don't take underdone players into the season proper. I think our mindset was poor to begin with, thought finals were a given.

Rebuild? Are you 'avin a giggle?

We have a few cracks that need to be patched. The whole house doesn't have to be demolished.
I thought that at first , then I tried to work out which players and coaches of our current group would walk into Sydney,Freo/Hawks club , realistically this year ? , not many at all , and I reckon that's what we have to aim at .

Take the season seriously and not for granted, and that starts with the preseason and the coach not watching the games on the sidelines watching from a banana lounge!!!
Burgo needs to get these boys in the gym.... starting now!!!

We have the talent it's proven. Something just hasn't gone right this year and it's not showing. If we can find the source of the problem we can get back to what we were last year. It's stating the obvious but it's the truth.

Usually you can't put players in the gym for anything other than enough to not lose gains during the season, as they'd be shot game days. Our season is toast, so take advantage of having the extra time to put on much needed muscle. I don't care if short term we are destroyed in last quarters if it helps us for 2016.

I don't ever want a spoon or even bottom 4, but with the top 6, Middle 6, Bottom 6 draw setup, 13th is a hell of a lot better spot to finish then 12th if we can rebound next year.

What if its true , and im thinking along these lines too , that we peaked in 2014/15 ?. I mean skills/unforced errors were a worry even last year , same as kicking to the deep pockets , lack of mobile big men etc., but somehow got away with it . I don't think any of us beleave the current list can get us the ultimate prize , not just basing this on tonights performance , but even looking at our Sanfl team , I cant really see to much there either.

Schulz is well and truly cooked. Prob would have preferred him retiring instead of Kane, could have moved Kane around onto the likes of Kennedy and Hannelberry when they were getting into gear.

Need stronger entries inside 50. Strong marks, confident kicks. None of the bombing to a contest or just anywhere forward and hope for the best. We need a key forward.

Our best players need to step up and play regularly, I'm tired of hearing how they need to step up for this game or how they are due for a great game. Elite players play
elite every game every week. Find a way to get into the game, that's what they're paid to do.

Some players need to be moved on, that's up to the coaches and where they want the game play to go but I'm looking straight at Moore. Hasn't done enough and doesn't look like ever doing anything.

Still a young side but not as young as we used to be, skills need working on in all areas I would say. Kicking has been disgusting all year.

Positive for me from tonight was Ahchee, great game from a youngster.

Here's what I'd do:

1. Wingard to play as a full time midfielder
2. Amon, Ah Chee and Colquhoun to play every week
3. Play O'Shea. If we must persist with the plus one at least make it a player who can intercept.
4. Place Polec in cotton wool
5. Drop Jonas, Carlile, Schulz, Lobbe and anyone else after unacceptable performances
6. Launch a review of the entire preseason program
7. Head hunt a new director of coaching - Shaun Hart to a player welfare role
8. Target a midfielder who can take a contested mark in the draft
9. Find some depth

Amon & AhChee need to play every week. Clurey needs more exposure. Harvey needs to play 4-5 games. Neade should come back in for 5-6 games. Moore should play every week for the rest of the year. Get Impey running up the ground.

I dont think we need wholesale changes next year, just some tinkering.
