Yes and no...example pakenham v port Melbourne colts or pakenham v healsville...afl outer east is the best fit for the sefnl clubs...excluding cranbourne and toorindan.

The travel time from H’ville to Pakenham is actually the same as from Pakky to Port Melb. If anything it’s more direct for all the SEFNL clubs travelling up towards the Southern league.

Anyone know what the Facebook page with the Afl yarra ranges memes and banter is called?

Looks like Cranny may be a late entrant. Just confirmed that they can not appeal MPNFL decision, AFLSE sought advice from AFl lawyers and have informed Cranny that they are homeless atm!

Seville completely ran off there feet today bye Junction. Score line flattered Seville and junction will take some beating in 2 weeks.

These clubs are far too strong for the SFNL. They had the right home in the MPNFL and they walked out. Now it’s a headache that I’m very surprised this league has bought into.

I thought EFL would have been a good fit

Walk out isnt quite accurate. They had a division in the MPNFL that none of the MPNFL clubs would agree to being integrated in a proper divisional structure. Whether the comp was labelled Casey Cardinia or SEFNL made little difference, same teams with no divisional football, which was the big bug bear for clubs like Hampton Park.

The MPNFL clubs didn't let them in, that is the issue at hand.
The MPNFL clubs recently changed their constitution so that 75% of clubs had to vote yes to admit clubs instead of a simple majority and the amendment was voted in. Once that by-law was ratified, the SEFNL clubs as a block were screwed and had no chance of starting off as a Division 3 and AFL SE could do very little about it. Cranbourne had a much better hope getting in on their own seeing as though they were the closest club seeking admission.

and were still rejected....

A few injuries to important players will help Healesville. However don’t count out the Mountain Bloods

Olinda straight sets.. Wandin thumped Woori.....Healesville a huge chance to go through to the GF. Went to woori v Wandin you have to say Wandin’s young blokes are the difference they were too slick .....Van Unen is a freak

How many for Waters today?

Injuries and form curtailed the Mountain Bloods season - they have depth and things certainly look promising with the commencement of the new league in 2019. Healesville are a threat and certainly peaking at the right time of the year.

Woori obviously couldn’t play any worse than yesterday. Van Unen is a terrific player along with Heasley. Wandin would be favourites at this stage

Who wins this week? Healesville are on a roll and Woori will want to atone for there embarrassing result last week
