Damian Mascitti is a very good appointment for the captaincy. The recruiting to increase our list has been encouraging. Fingers crossed the season can start in August. I really need a footy fix.

To the Box Hill Hawks community, Unfortunately, the current events in Victoria in relation to COVID-19 has left AFL Victoria with no other choice than to cancel the 2020 VFL season. A disappointing outcome, particularly for players, coaches and support staff alike who have constantly stepped up...

Disappointing but hard to see how they had any other choice.

The impact on the AFL side will be interesting. Players will need to maintain match fitness without playing matches.
