History:

These two sides have played each other a total of 27 times. In a fairly even split the Furies have won 14, the Swamprats have won 12 and they’ve also played out a draw. The Swamprats were able to beat the Furies twice last season and the Furies are looking to return the favour this season.

Sin City Swamprats

After a slow start to the season the Swamprats were on a roll, winning their past 4 games before suffering a heart breaking 1pt loss to the Roys last week. A win this week could see them jump back into the top 4, which is a great effort considering they've spent a large part of the season outside the top 8. The Swamprats midfield has been firing on all cylinders in recent weeks anda few of their prime movers could pull a few votes in the Mobbs Medal count.

Players to watch out for:

grav.png
Grav : The rookie dynamo dobbed 4 goals last week and tried to drag his team over the line single handily

power raid.jpg
Power Raid : If he hasn’t liked your post have you really posted? Had just the one kick last week, look for him to bounce back with a strong performance this week.

quadzilla.jpg
Quadzilla : 23 disposals last week but only the 2 tackles, a gun player who will be ticked off about the loss last week. Expect a huge response from him.

Fighting Furies:

The Furies are absolutely flying, winning a club record 8 games in a row. In fact its the equal second longest winning streak in SFA history. They sit a game clear at the top of the ladder with a sky-high percentage. Near certainties to be playing finals and will be looking to consolidate top spot on the ladder with another win this week. The Furies have been getting great contribution from pretty much the entire team, tgrs is one of the favourites to win the Mobbs Medal this season. A win this week combined with a Warriors loss will see the Furies be the first team to lock in a finals spot for season 23.

Players to watch out for:

sterge.gif
Sterge : El Capitano didn’t get much of the pill last week and had 6 goals kicked on him but his leadership shone through, a real Nick Maxwell type.

Tgrs.jpg
tgrs : The superstar young gun had 20 disposals in a midfield that ran amok last week. Ducked his head a few times and got rewarded with 5 frees.

tarkyn.jpg
Tarkyn_24 : The Veteran full forward booted 4 last week and could be in for a huge bag this week if the Swamprats aren’t switched on.

Random Fun Fact That You May Or May Not Care About:

Two of the Swamprats' five lowest scores on record are against Fighting Furies. The Swamprats are also the only club in the SFA to have kicked six scores of under 40 points in a completed match.

I like there logo a lot ours is a bit simple but more timeless. Furies are locks as I said we are certain to win the flag
Their logo looks like it's done by a 7 year old kid on MS Paint, much like the Port Adelaide home jumper.

I think you'll find that we used MS Paint for our old one. Instead, we upgraded to GIMP for the latest logo as we couldn't afford Photoshop.

Nah. Ending streaks is soooooo last week

It's going to extend to this week.

Swamprats will end our 1 game losing streak and the Furies 8 game winning streak
