Spookism's latest attempts at defence even has the meekest of Full Fowards look like complete monsters.

Preview:
The only previous grand final pairing having seen both clubs play out the first infamous first drawn grand final in Season 5 back in a time where the black plague was running strife and choking chocco(bo)s was in full swing. Did I ever mention that Cloud_ plays for this team? Because he does, and those hot idols are his Buster Sword, clearly compensating for something. Speaking of Final Fantasy, it’s unlikely that the Swamprats will be having one of those anytime soon unless they drastically improve their mediocre showings so far. Should they make the finals in this current state, you could make a good argument for a Final Fantasy 6 (which is the best one, hands down).

The Furies are starting to pick up some decent form in recent times, doing things quite comfortably with contributions all around the ground. Their % is very healthy, they just need to start getting more wins to get into that top 4. The team morale seems to be quite high, a lot of contributors, and some proper quality amongst the club leaders. Perhaps it is their united brothers(and sisters)-in-arms nature that has lead to an atmosphere that even when the Qooty stops, there’s always something to talk and discuss about. It also has been reflecting well in their play in recent times. Let’s just hope this doesn’t lead to a 9th place finish.

The Swamprats have in recent times looking quite hapless, being the very opposite of the Furies in that no one but Antbear seems to be standing up and being accountable for their actions. It also seems like that matches involving the ‘Rats have a tendency to make their opponents drag down their level as very drab matches have been a result of this. It seems like that even the ‘Rats can’t win matches by experience anymore. The fans of both the rats, and that of their opponents are not amused in the slightest. Amazing to think that just a few matches ago, we were seeing many members of the Swamprats take up spots in the Team of the Week. You can’t deny that the Swamprats are very highly synced as a team, but they’ll need to pull their finger out and start to find their collective mojo again.

It should be noted that clashes between the two sides in recent times seem extremely one sided, and with the current % differences, the Furies’ 118% vs the Swamprats, it seems like a case of throwing the overgrown cats into the rats’ nest, a lot of bloodshed, yet all of it is just small fry and very unfilling.

Players to watch:
Be spooked, but not alarmed, Spookism had a nightmare time out again Fred, with the old man throwing him around like Pebbles Rocca did to a young Zac Dawson. Spook is much more experienced than Zac Dawson, so be to compared to Ross Lyon’s pet like that should be outright insulting! He’s got his week cut out dealing with the goal kicking legend himself, weep not for him, for there is life after death in his case.

Finally, it’s the goal kicking legend, the very name you think of when you think of kicking some goals… and also one heck of a treacherous snake. What the hell is a Pie Guy like Tarkyn_24 doing at a Tiger-infested place like the Furies? Did he change his club allegiances? It is stuff like this that demands that there really should be a Collingwood exclusive club, because despite his efforts on the field with a last eight, a black and white man like Tarks should not be seen in yellow, it has nasty implications.

The Tip:
The Rats are drab and boring, and coming up against the Furies, you can expect it to be a drab and boring affair. I expect no one would kick more than 3 goals, and you’re more likely to complain to the managers to get your money back. Watch only if you’re a Fury supporter, but please don’t expect anything spectacular. Yes, Fred still got 8, but Spook will learn from his mistakes.

Furies by 33 points.

Have at it!
