Lols 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆

50 points, what a *img joke the sim is.

Notwithstanding the good week of bantering with the Royals, the sim.can * right off
51 points.

Upon further investigation, it turns out it was a captains goal!

And the explanation from Mobbs
This one required THREE consecutive comments to be randomly chosen by the Sim which happened to not name the player. So it's quite rare, but of course it can happen. Any of the handpass comment, the shot-at-goal comment or the confirmed goal comment could have mentioned the player, but in this case the Sim chose three anonymous comments.

Here's an alternate possibility with three different comments from the relevant comments files than the ones the Sim chose:
1 : 18.12 {lHFF} - Ulahoopski receives his handpass.
1 : 18.17 {lHFF} - Long handpass to the running Cadsky.
1 : 18.23 {lHFF} - Cadsky has latched onto a torp!
1 : 18.3 {lHFF} - Fantastic goal from Cadsky.

Coney Island Warriors : 1.4.10
Gold City Royals : 4.0.24

This situation does happen from time to time:
HANDPASS.CMT - only 2 of 43 possible comments do not include the recipient's name. (None include the handballer's name)
GOALSHO2.CMT (long goals as opposed to GOALSHO1 - closer goals) - 21 of 49 possible comments
GOAL.CMT - 43 of /96 possible comments
(Note these stats are from the data in MY comments files which may not be identical to that of simmer, and result in different odds of this phenomenon happening). Commentary files can be user edited and added to at whim, to cater for a simmer thinking of a new cool thing to say about a thing that happens.

As you can see, there's a fair chance we don't get to hear who has a shot, and a decent chance we still don't see their name when they kick it, but the chances we don't hear that it was that player which received the ball in the first place is very slim! In fact the chances are 1 chance in 112, (1806 out of 202,272). But considering there's maybe about 20 goals kicked in a game on average, the chances of this happening in a game are maybe approx 1 in 5.6. So about every 6 goals, you could perhaps see this happen.

Yes thanks for skipping all that and focussing on my typo ahahahaha
I read it all then got to the conclusion which was incongruous. Because you showed your working you still got almost full marks.

I didn't want someone skimming to think 1 in 6 goals was the occurrence.

Or roughly the same as the Wazzas getting the win.

Hold our beer
