I recall a precedent on something similar to this occurring in Season a few seasons ago. Iirc the decision was so long as its removed before team sheet deadline it was fine.

Then that's fair. But how to you punish a team for a violation in a season that has already ended for them? Im not sure you can carry over a punishment into the following season? At least I don't recall it happening previously. And don't get me wrong, I'm not sticking up for the Bombers here because id love nothing more than to see them cry, but I just don't know how anything can be done about it.

No, it's not the job of the admin to ensure teams play by the rules. That's on the leadership group of each team.

In fact, if you bother to read the rules ... your club, and several others, are in breach of them by NOT posting a team.

Meh, was just putting up our team early so I could dial it in for the rest of the season.

As minor premiers, we were guaranteed a GF appearance if history was any guide.

Sent a message in the Team PM telling everyone to stay away from the Carlton board last night.

Logged on at 1:50am this morning to make sure no one had been suspended and I'd need to change the team sheet. Stayed there, monitoring everyone's status, until 2:00am (and was concerned to see that omgfridge's status indicated he was viewing the Carlton board).

See this thread has been bumped today.

Was ready to MURDER SOMEONE DEAD!!!! if there'd been an issue with our team sheet.

The sigh of relief was not commensurate with this stress.

There was an issue with the Bears a season or two ago, when someone got a suspension after the team sheet had been posted, and then there was no change. I think Committee went with a warning. Did not want to risk any issues for a GF.
