20mins into the second quarter i have turned the TV off, typical of our club. Give us some hope then let us down again.

That is now season over :(

2006 here we come, for another disappointment and heart ache as we'll miss finals again.

Can we improve? Can we do better next season? I seriously don't know if we can go ANYWHERE with our list and coaching staff.

Agree, another disapointing season regardless of where we finish. I believe we should be a top 4 team but not with CC.

With CC staying there 2006 and 2007, it will be the much the same. We beat bottom teams but fail against the top boys and miss out on finals footy.

Yeah, Freo had a loss, season over

Maybe season over for certain players that are unable to perform when it counts, but there are two more games that give Freo the chance to make the finals.

Lets blame CC for a soft on ground performance

6 wins in a row, then a bad loss, still in with a chance of the finals.

Why am I getting the feeling that the majority of supporters are just ********ing bandwagoners.

Oh, poor me, it's the coach, it's the umpire etc, etc, etc.

Was better being a Freo member pre 2003, starved of any success than it is today.

The eagles managed to kick almost 20 goals without a forward line, they where missing 5 very good players.... but they still beat us by 8 goals. I am entitled to be dissapointed. The game was over 15 mins into the first quarter. Forget the last quarter junk time goals, we hardly touched the ball all night.

CC was totally out coached, he and the coaching staff had a bad night. I just believe i was stating the obvious, we won't get close to port and will be lucky to get close to the saints. For the record, it was 5 wins in a row, not 6

Were still a chance against the saints next week, the boys will get a hiding in the media this week and rightly so. They have a brilliant forwardline but we shouldnt get the flogging in the middle like we did tonight, they have a good midfield but it hasnt got the pace of the eagles. We'll be underdogs i think but the season isnt over yet.

Well MY season is not over. We have the potential to beat St Kilda and Port Adelaide so I'm not chucking in the towel yet. Sure, we won't win either game if we play like we did tonight, but I have faith that the boys can play better.

No one should give up - players, members or supporters.

I wish i could agree with you, but our history of falling over suggests otherwise, we played with no heart tonight.... we let them dominate really

All the ones we haven't seen for 5 weeks and now we do!

Why don't you start another thread on Josh Carr?

Yep you too.

Pathetic.
Ripper.
In your tag at the bottom maybe you should have.
"Accepting Mediocrity since 2003" ..... only joking

I have been here for the last 5 weeks, Josh Carr has been much inproved the last 3 weeks. But tonight was another bad night for him, he just seems to make more mistakes than really good players should. But no doubt he has improved a lot.

If we had of lost by 8 goals and the eagles where at full strenght that i can take, but missing 5 players and they still dominated, we hardly touched the ball for 2 quarters.

You can accept medicore performances Ripper, but you don't get anywhere if you do. I hope like hell we bounce back and win our last 2...... but we have seen this all before with CC..... i don't want another 2 years of this

Its not CCs fault. We have a middle range team. WC lose those players and we look more even but the fact is, WC only has to turn up to beat us recently. Seems to be we are reverting to that little brother syndrome. We will beat the saints next week... and at least... it will be an even money contest against the Power.

We can still make the finals but really, some of our supporters seriously over rate our team. Every week I see supposed freo followers, bragging how we will give the other team a flogging and the moment we lose, they are the first ones to call for peoples heads.

IF anyone is calling for CC's head then you are no supporter of this football club. We have won 5 in a row and had one shocker against a bloody good side.

hmmm, not so sure about that. I reckon the Saints will win the flag

dissapointed today and a little surprised at the ease in which we were beaten not really a contest at all

Very stoic of you hoss but in all honesty the Dockers were never going to make it given the remaining games they faced, if it didn't happen last night it would've next week or the week after. Time to start thinking about unloading the dead wood at the Club.
