Rating: A. Top half finish. Bielsaball. Took points off all "big 6" teams.

Positives:
Stuart. Dallas.
Lord Bamford proving everyone (myself included) wrong
Leeds falling apart for the 2nd season in a row.
Stopped our leaky defence with only 10 goals conceded in the last 15 games.
Ayling at RB
Meslier got better and better as the season went on and is still only 21.
Raphinha taking to the PL very well.
Beradi & Pablo getting a great send off in front of fans
All our signings played well when they weren't injured

Disappointments:
All our signings were injured for large parts of the season
First half against Arsenal
Kiko starting the last 2 games.
Helder Costa
Seeing Pablo play his last game for Leeds, his goal vs Swansea will always been up there for me and no way we are in the premier league without him.

Key focus for next season:
LB. LB. LB
Attacking Mid.
Not getting relegated.

Favourite goal:
Harrison vs Newcastle

Best moment:
Stuart Dallas scoring a 90th minute winner for 10 man Leeds against the champions.

What a ******* year.

For Brighton and Hove Albion:
Rating: B-, Never in the bottom 3 and the level of play has improved in each season under Potter.

Positives:
Staying Up
The play of Tariq Lamptey before injury
The rise of Rob Sanchez
The steady improvement of Ben White over the season
The growth of our youth academy and the players coming through into the first XI from it.
Older player signings in Veltman, Lallana and Welbeck for minimum cost but maximum impact

Disappointments:
General inability to score even with high xG and chances
Lamptey and March's long term injuries
Still being our own worst enemy on the pitch

Key focus for next season:
Bringing in a clinical striker to take at a higher % the chances we create
Holding onto to our best players
Getting more games and experience into a lot of the promising young players coming through the system

Would give us an A, only reason I can't give an A+ was because we just missed out on top 4.

Positives:
Making Europe for the first time in a long time.
The transfers, Soucek, Coufal were terrific business. Benrahma started to show some signs. Lingard of course.
Style of play. Seemed to find our MO with playing on the counter and having pacey hard working players.
The manager. For once now we seem to have a plan and someone who wants to build something with us and be here for the long term.

Disappointments:
Just missing out on top 4.
Injuries. Rice injured late was huge and then Antonio out for 3 months also.
Sebastian Haller. No longer with us but have to give him a mention. Seemed disinterested and just wasn't willing to work hard enough at times, lack of movement became pretty obvious.

Key focus for next season:
Need another striker perhaps 2.
Need at least 3-4 more signings to survive the extra fixtures, Alex Kral for CM, a LB to rotate with Cresswell, probably another CB and Lingard.
Do what we can to keep Declan for another season.

Favourite goal:
Lanzini vs. Spurs.

Best moment:
There's a lot, but not bottling it on the final day and to have a convincing win was so un West Ham like, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Biggest Positives: Adapted well to a new manager mid season and cant really complain. Top 4 was good, UCL is amazing, would have loved the FA Cup too but i guess we cant have everything.
Biggest Disappointments: Frank getting sacked, but this morning wouldnt have happened with him still here so silver lining and all that jazz.
Key focus before 2021/22 season: A CF(big Rom or Ings please) to replace Giroud and Tammy and a young DM(Aurélien Tchouaméni would be nice) is what we are desperate for. Other spots depending on who goes.
Favourite goal: Havertz goal today and Mounts vs Liverpool my favs
Best moment: Obviously lifting big ears for the 2nd time.

Favourite goal:
Alisson's headed goal in stoppage time.

Biggest Positives:
Harry Kane. Finishing above Arsenal. Bale when given a chance
Biggest Disappointments: Daniel Levy. Mourinho. Our centre backs, all of them! Knocked out of Europe by a side with a manager who fled the country to avoid jail.
Key focus before 2021/22 season: New manager. New centre backs.
Favourite goal: I can't even remember any worth being a favourite so I'll go with Schmeichel's own goal on the final day.
Best moment: Kick off of the first Euro 2020 game.

Biggest Positives: Being able to sign some CL calibre players, winning at Anfield
Biggest Disappointments:
Not getting European football despite the start of the season, lack of goal scorers outside Purple Patch DCL, defensive liabilities of certain players that rhyme with Colgate.
Key focus before 2021/22 season:
Signings that can make us play proper one touch football and a new striker who can score from outside 6 yards.
Favourite goal:
James with his right foot from outside the area
Best moment:
Winning at Anfield for the first time since the Ice Age.

Positives:
Saka really showing the world how good he is going to be
Tierney's leadership and continued effort
Pepe starting to look like the player we actually bought to start with
Back run of form (even though the pressure was off)
Being able to get Ødegaard on loan
Shipping out a lot of the deadwood

Disappointments:
Arteta; his selections, persisting with Willian, his tactics (or lack of), freezing out players who arguably shouldn't have been
Auba's form
Our defence
Willian
Edu and Vinai
Our performance in the EL

Key focus for next season:
Finding a partner for Partey
Fixing our defence
Creative midfielder

Favourite goal:
Tierney vs WBA or Pepe vs WBA

Best moment:
Beating Man Utd is always nice

Key focus before 2021/22 season:
Gut the entire club from top to bottom
Favourite goal:
The one that guy scored that goal that one time in that game that didn't matter
Best moment:
The whistle going in the final game of the season

Arsenal's season can't be described as anything other than a complete record setting shitshow.

Biggest Positives:
There were not many. The major positive I guess that despite all that happened we managed to scrap our way into 3rd and qualify for CL football next season.
Watching Nat Phillips grow into his role and together with Rhys helping save the season.
Jota being an excellent signing and hitting the ground running.

Biggest Disappointments:
Not being able to defend the title.
Injuries of course. Season ending injuries to VVD, Gomez and Matip just killed our season. Also long term injuries to Thiago, Jota and Henderson ... season was f’ed for injuries.

Key focus before 2021/22 season:
With Konate already through the door which gives us that 4th top CB, it's really just a Wijnaldum replacement in midfield and we are desperate for a proper centre forward who can score goals.

Favourite goal:
Couldn't be anything other that Alisson's winner from a corner in the 93rd minute. Cue pandemonium.

Best moment:
Again has to be Ali's corner. Just everything he had been through with his family. You could see how much it meant to him and how emotional he was, the post match interview was everything. Love that man.

Making a semi final isn't that big of a disappointment? Or did you struggle through getting results to that point?

Speaking of EL that's another one to add to my list of disappointments. Losing to a said whose manager went to jail a few days before knocking us out.

We could and should have won it.

We were woeful, struggled for results at times too.

Villarreal finished seventh.
Yeah they massive overachieved. What I'm saying is a side finishing 7th or 8th shouldn't be calling making a semi final in that competition a failure or major disappointment. A lot of better sides than Arsenal went out earlier than that and they would have every reason to call their EL a failure. I'm looking at Leicester, Leverkusen Milan, Ajax, Rangers, Lille & Napoli. Granted Lille and Rangers had other priorities and achieved them but making the final 4 of that competition for Arsenal is one of the few things that would be considered a solid pass mark.

Rating: B, started the season poorly, finished poorly however finishing second was ok.
Biggest Positives:
Finishing second gives us a starting point for next season to properly challenge. Away form solid.
Biggest Disappointments:
Europa final. Home form.
Key focus before 2021/22 season:
Strengthening in key areas to be able to challenge in the league, RW, CB, Midfielder are keys.
Favourite goal:
Cavani from downtown.
Best moment:
Woody leaving, fans letting the Glazers know exactly how we feel. Restructure of the head office by having a DoF.

Rating: B-

Biggest Positives:
- The late charge to finish 3rd despite a horrendous run of injuries concentrated in defence and midfield resulting in us fielding midfielders and then two Championship level defenders at centreback for half the season.
- Yet another world class, 31 goal season for Salah.

Biggest Disappointments:
- The long term injuries derailing our season.
- The run of 8 losses in 12 games over Jan-Feb. We were top at Xmas and the form team in the league over the last 10. Without this collapse in the middle of the season we would’ve been in contention. This was a year we should have been primed for another title challenge and silverware, so bottom line it’s a missed opportunity for an extremely good side to add to their legacy
- Saying goodbye to Gini. A critical piece of our success over the last few years and still has a lot to offer.

Key focus before 2021/22 season:
- Bringing in Konaté is a sensible move. Gomez and Matip as good as they are just can’t be trusted to stay fit.
- Combination of AFCON next January + the declining form of Firmino and Mané this season has me a bit worried, I’d like us to spend big on a forward.

Favourite goal:
-

Best moment:

Rating:

Biggest Positives: First half of the season. After a slow start to the season, the Cumbrians had worked their way to the top of the table by the start of 2021.
Biggest Disappointments: Second half of the season. After a 2-0 win away to Walsall on January 2 to reach the top of the table, we didn't play another game for a month due to frozen pitches and Covid. All the momentum created dissipated as we lost 10 of our next 13 games, finishing a disappointing 10th.
Key focus before 2021/22 season: Retaining key players, bringing in a striker or two.
Favourite goal: Omari Patrick V Mansfield
Best moment: Jon Mellish is a young midfielder who has the size, speed, skills and power to play at a higher level. Finished the season as our leading goal scorer with 16, a number of his goals were too good for the fourth tier. Hopefully we can push for promotion next year and keep him long term.
