Tommo has played a great game. Harry played his role very well too. Loved Cal's game and Kelly, Sculls and Cogs tried hard all night. Too many of our stars like Toby and Haynes not at their best.

If we want to win a prelim next year we need more than half the team to show up to play
Cheers, but not about luck. We need to make the next step and it will be tough to do. The AFL will be very happy. They have managed to ensure we are there and there abouts, but not the unstoppable juggernaut every one feared. It is now up to the club to find the improvement.

more character building for our squad, when we do eventually make the big dance and win it, it sure will be earned (cue the draft picks trolling etc.... wasnt an issue when we were copping the floggings a few years back)
almost fitting for our season that we copped an injury during tonights game, we just didnt want it enough tonight, we'll regroup and have another crack next year, another positive season for us, look at our injuries and we still made a prelim, ill take that every year.
bring on 2018 giants fans, we'll be back, loud and proud!!!!

Agree about the umpiring........ especially in the last quarter. The 'expert' commentators had no idea about the incorrectness of the decisions either.

feels like we need to start phasing out the older guys in our team IMO (mummy, shaw & griff), good servants to the club but i feel the younger blokes (who have been there from day 1) should be leading this team, back to back prelims and we've just played in the most hostile atmosphere we will get in the league, time they stand up and start leading the team & club.
all the boys can walk off the ground with their heads held high, we were just beaten by the better team. our time will come, we are in good hands
