For those guys who have named their man-shame as dying their partner's hair: I do colour my wife's hair, but look at it as a trade-off; she shaves mine!
And there is no shame in being unmechanical with modern cars. It took me 5 minutes to find the dipstick on our first east-west engine! You need to combine mechanics with the computer skills of Bill Gates these days to work on a car.
