This is not called for. Fans throwing rubbish out on the field where players can get injured. And that just happened to Mervyn Dillon. If you saw it you would have known how bad it is. Not only did he roll an ankle, but the people in the crowd were laughing at him. If it was Mcgrath for example, would they be laughing? I think security at Cricket matches should be boosted. Take last year when play was held up for 15 minutes due to rubbish being thrown on the field and fans getting mad. What is becomming of the game of cricket. Is this really called for? I think there should be something done about this.
 
I know the ACB was a little concerned during the one dayers in Sydney (when they were throwing golf balls and cooked chickens at Pat Symcox) and Melbourne (Bay 13). For streakers or 'pitch invaders' the penalty which is a ban on the venue for 12 months and a fairly large fine doesn't seem to be enough. What can they do?
