Reminds me a bit of Bruce Abernathy with the way he moves.

As much as people are saying he's outside, which I agree at the moment he is, he doesn't mind the contested ball either. Doesn't skirt it when it's his turn to go. 12 disposals in 30% game time, 4 contested, plus a clearance and 2 goal assists (equal most). I like him. Plus he's a local boy. :D

I agree, he seems plenty willing to go get the ball to me. It's the body that isn't ready for prolonged inside play yet. He's got the skills, the nous and the pace to make it though, I like him a lot.

This will be a big learning year for him, getting used to the pace and physicality of senior footy, with some time back in the VFL also. I see no reason not to expect him to work his way into the starting 22 in 2013 and have a big year in 2014.

I'm wary of pumping up our kids too much, but I'm confident this lad will be very good.

I don't mind what I have seen of him so far, but at this point he seems to lack a real weapon that I like to see before I state that kids will be very good players. He has good skills, okay pace, is kind of outside, and kind of tall. I will wait until I see something more develop within him before I make a claim to his potential.

Not sure every player needs to have a real weapon JB. Good solid player who can find the footy would be nice. Watched him quite a few times last year in the 2's and has a real ability at finding the ball and kicked it well. Another 5-10kgs on his frame would be nice. Good future for mine and will obviously benefit from a couple more pre-seasons.

Has pace to burn, good skills but just tends to over do it sometimes.

Case in point: When he played on after taking a good mark against the Hawks and was caught. I love that he takes the game on though and looks to get the ball moving quickly.

He'll get better with every minute he plays and think we definitely have something good here. The kid looks like he has his head screwed on straight as well. Already taken him under my wing.

Not sure if Wednesday is the best game for him to start in, will be pretty physical in the first quarter and he might get chucked around a bit which would put a dint in his confidence. I reckon bring him in 3rd quarter when everyone is extra tired due to the 4 day break.

I agree though, is composed and looks a good one, always has.

I'll be disappointed if he isn't the sub this week! All last year we were the only team to not exploit the rule we just have to look at how the Eagles used Gaff in that role to see how it can be used in a positive way. Not only can it provide a boost to the team midway through the third term but it can also ease a kid into senior footy.

Give Seedsman the vest for a while yet because he'll give us something when he comes on as others are slowing down.

Very impressed with Seedsman's game against Port.

Apart from a minor hiccup immediately after he got subbed on (and which he recovered from and made up for) I thought his performance was flawless.

The kid's got composure.

Going to claim Ugle and Seedsman, the best picks of that year to my mind. Seednuts looked to me to have good composure, Ugle pace.

Also is descendant of our old Collingwood Pres, Jim Sharp and Pies supporter growing-up. Love the romance too.
