Am sticking my head out and saying that Sefrah will win the Oaks after taking out the Wakeful this weekend on Derby Day. So get on it b4 it runs on Saturday as it will come into favouritism after it wins. Cheers D Mac

OK, thanks mate, but not convinced its run midweek a couple of starts back was deplorable.
Are you serious? Should have nearly won on CC day after it got out when it was all over. She is going to be hard beat in the oaks.

I agree with D-Mac, however I'm petrified of Tuesday Joy though. Big danger.

Come on mate, you cant have a first timer just come on here and dominate, argue against him even if its not what you believe in.

I was on Amitola that day, seemed to win pretty easy. Although as you said sefrah did deserve to be closer, didnt get clear until the last 150.

I'm not going to argue for the sake of arguing. This time i'am for and not against.

Anyway well done on backing Amitola.:thumbsu:

My first time i don't think so buddy. As for her last run she got held up behind a wall of horses and when got out she got to the line hard.

So on a bigger track in Flemington i can't see her getting held up for a run and will b very strong at the finish.
As for her not being nominated for the Wakeful i'm sure they will pay up for it as thats the last lead up race to the Oaks which most run in.

Well since Sefrah didn't run in the Wakeful i feel it will have a big task now beating Tuesday Joy in the Oaks, although i will still back her i'm not as confident as i would of been if she ran yesterday.
So it looks like its going to be a quinella aswell as backing her straight out.

I liked Sefrah for the Oaks too, but now Miss Finland looks to be running and Ive seen Tuesday Joy in the flesh, place seems to be best bet for her!

Tuesday Joy was VERY impressive. Hats off to Gai this time around - she's produced some top horses that have done well in Melbourne.

Tuesday Joy, Desert War and Dance Hero all won on Derby Day and Aqua D'More has run well in the Caufield Cup, Cox Plate and McKinnon.

Tuesday Joy should win the Oaks.
