So much win in this show, and even in this thread so far

What made the show for me was the minor characters. Characters like Kenny Bania, Jackie Chiles and David Puddy were of just as good quality as the main characters, but didn't get milked to the point that you were sick of them. I mean, Jackie Chiles only appeared in five episodes (and is mentioned in another without being seen), but he's one of the most memorable bit-part players of the series:

Right up there with Married with Children, Cheers and Frasier as my favorite sitcom. In saying that i do go through periods that can often last a few months between watching the episodes, after watching them a lot during their channel 10 run, then TV1 (a number of times, including the marathons!) and again as the dvds were released. I needed some time apart, the show is still rock solid, but as i discovered they lose a little of their shine after being watched 309437490274309473 times.

They can still be funny after 309437490274309473 times, but some space in between watching them helps.

Elaine laughing in the pez dispenser episode is one of the great moments. Her only other laughing moment that could top that is when Jerry reveals his haircut to her

Another great scene is George and Kramer in the busboys apartment trying to apologise for getting him fired.
