Can't pick 5 but a few of my favourite eps from the first 5 or so seasons are:

The Alternate Side; "these pretzels are making me thirsty"
The Parking Space; "S: Like you didn't call me a phony? M: I meant it in a complementary way. When people say, 'He's bad' it really means he's good. S: Use it in a sentence M: Man, that Michael Jordan is so phony (to Kramer): WHY DID YOU TELL HIM?"
The Opera; when Elaine and Jerry realise that Kramer sold his ticket to Crazy Joe Devola :D
The Old Man; the old man that Jerry has to look after
The Airport; Kramer trying to get his money back and George running into trouble with the convict.
The Bris; the mohel.
The Marine Biologist; George's story at the end.
The Fire; George pushing past children and elderly people to get out of the building.
