Funny and interesting . In this clip when Kramer has the camera on George you can see parts of Jerry's apartment that you dont see at any other time in the series.

You can't just finish the story there! How'd the react? What happened next?

She didn't really see the funny side. They tried to offer us an 'upgrade' for the same price. The upgrade was a better car but it didn't meet our space requirements.

When she was talking about what we were covered for in the insurance I said to my mate good thing we have insurance because "I am gonna beat the hell out of this car." He pissed himself but I don't think she heard.

Turned out we had to drive crammed as hell to LA to get the car we wanted and then drive back to Anaheim.

Just got back from the US where during the trip we hired a car to drive from San Diego to San Francisco (stopping at various places along the way). We rocked up to the car dealership and told them we had a reservation under our name for a particular car (we needed that car because it had tons of seats and space, it was a beast). They then told us that they didn't have the car that we had reserved.

My mate then pulled out the "you know how to take the reservtion but you don't know how to hold the reservation. and that's really the most important part of the reservation, the holding. Anybody can just take them."
Classic.

So much win. :thumbsu:

"I flew too close to the sun on wings of pastrami"

I use that saying now whenever something really cool doesn't pan out for me. People look at me like i'm a fruitbat

Jerry's sarcastic response to that is equally hilarious:

"Yea, that's what you did."

:(

Kellie Waymire was terrific in Six Feet Under.

Waymire played the prostitute who was friends with Brenda Chenowith.

"Take it easy. Take, it easy."

Phone: Hi, it's Carol, I 'll get back to you. (Beep)

George: Uhm, hi, it's George, George Costanza, remember me? The guy that didn't come up for coffee. You see, I didn't realise that coffee didn't really mean ... well, whatever. Anyway, it was fun. It was, erm, it was fun, so, oh boy, uhm, so, you call me back. I..I...I..If you want, it's up to you, you know, whatever you wanna do. Either way. The ball's in your court. So, er, take it easy...

Greatest comedy I've seen in my time, but I struggle to clearly express what makes it so good.

It's something to do with highlighting the little things in everydy life that go unnoticed, in addition to each of the four characters having their own plot and equal amount of spotlight in each episode.

Anyway, I'd love for you to try and put in your own words a well-rounded response about what makes this show one of the greatest of all time.

the episode they put together on the Curb reunion show is ****ing classic. It's so uncannily alike to the real series. They get the crew looking exactly the same despite the time that's passed, and the story is classic Seinfeld - that is to say, Larry David.

You only see parts of it, but it's pure genius. Also, seeing the set, and the way they did the read throughs, and how they cracked up during takes - it's a pure joy to watch

Saying that to the typical airheads that believe Friends is the greatest sitcom of all time is always met with blank stares. They just don't get it. Then again, they are probably a lost cause.
Yep, I hate that. The kinds (usually female) who think nothing found in Seinfeld can trump the antics of Joey in Friends, and say things like "the only funny character was that tall guy with the crazy hair".

That isn't the one where George is trying to defend himself for blowing his nose into a napkin at a restaurant, justifying it by mentioning the time Jerry sneezed into one, and they're all giving him crap for it?

Saw this the other night and just thought to myself, they could do an infinite amount of episodes still. It's would still be just as hilarious based on just as little.

I remember Jerry saying that the door to his apartment basically symbolized the show. So in a word, the "pop-in." :D

One of my favourite moments.

that's the one. Just as funny as ever

seriously the best tv show to ever grace my set. even after all these years of watching i still throw my dvds in and laugh at all the classics

What's everyone's take on Bee Movie?

I reckon it's one of the most underrated animated comedies getting around. Have only watched it twice, but I think it's right up there with any of Pixars classics. It's basically a 2 hour Seinfeld bit on bees.

Brilliant writing and characters mainly. A lot of sitcoms rely on one main character and storyline which often makes them dull and one dimensional. Seinfeld had four main characters with different storylines which gave it more depth and always kept it interesting. The way those storylines all connected at the end of each episode was genius.

Also the no hugging and no learning mantra of Larry David and the genuine chemistry between the four main characters set it apart from most other sitcoms. Had some brilliant minor/guest characters as well.
