One of my favourite quotes is when George is dating a lady who thinks he is funny, Jerry joins them for dinner, but George tells Jerry that he can't be funny as the lady may then like him more then George. So Jerry acts all depressed and dark and comes out with this pearler on the theme of Birthdays.

"Well, birthday are merely symbolic of how another year has gone by and how little we've grown. No matter how desperate we are that someday a better self will emerge, with each flicker of the candles on the cake, we know it's not to be, that for the rest of our sad, wretched, pathetic lives, this is who we are to the bitter end. Inevitably, irrevocably: Happy Birthday? No such thing."

Gets me every time.

That was on GO the other day. Cracker of an episode.

GEORGE: Dark and disturbed? His whole life revolves around Superman and cereal. I convinced him to act like that so that you would think I was funnier. That's how disturbed I am! If you want disturbed, that's disturbed. You can't find sickness like that anywhere, you think sickness like that grows on trees? Nobody is sicker than me, nobody. He's pretending, I'm the genuine article.

CHERYL: So you're telling me Jerry's whole thing was an act?

GEORGE: Yes! And I put him up to it, because I'm sick! I'm the one that needs help.

CHERYL: I gotta go.

GEORGE: Well, should I call you later?

CHERYL: Please don't.

GEORGE: But, but I'm disturbed! I'm depressed! I'm inadequate! I got it all!

Elaine's laugh gets me every single time, and I've seen each episode at least three times.

Elaine laugh highlights include:
- When Jerry gets a haircut
- When Jerry puts the pez dispenser on her leg
- In the same episode when an old man is talking to her about "pouch envy"
- When she calls Jerry "Jug Dish" in the India ep (one of my fav episodes)
- When George shows her the doodle that his girlfriend did which supposedly looks like him

"I look like a troll!"

Funny the love for the India ep, I always thought most people hated it. I love it as well.

Also something that get's me every single time

"How you doin' over there? Not too good!" That delivery makes me lose my shit everytime I hear it.

I love reading George quotes, like the disturbed one, because in your head you're reading it in his voice hahaha

Haha I loved that laugh, and how the guy was like "this woman, had this...terrible laugh and it put me off for the rest of the night" (That was verbatim, I don't remember the direct quote)

I always thought the same thing. Some of the women he dated were out of his league too. I suppose you could say the same for George.

Obviously my favourite show.

Curb Your Enthusiasm too. If you're a Seinfeld fan and haven't watched it, you don't know what you're missing. It actually surprises me how many Seinfeld fans don't watch it.

I'm waiting on a delivery of seasons 1-7 of Curb as we speak. I've always liked it, but with all the late night time slot and consistent changing I was never able to watch a season properly. So once the dvds get here we'll do it properly from the start. I just love the way he tears apart things that people just do because it's the norm, and asks why?

Take it easy:D

And what follows...

Phone: Hi, it's Carol, I 'll get back to you. (Beep)
George: Uhm, hi, it's George, George Costanza, remember me? The guy that didn't come up for coffee. You see, I didn't realise that coffee didn't really mean ... well, whatever. Anyway, it was fun. It was, erm, it was fun, so, oh boy, uhm, so, you call me back. If..If..If you want, it's up to you, you know, whatever you wanna do. Either way. The ball's in your court. So, er, take it easy.
Jerry: I'm just gonna get my jacket, I'll meet you downstairs. What's the
matter, did you call?
George: Got her machine. I'm dead, I'm a dead man. That's it. I'm dead,
I'm a dead man. Dead man.
Jerry: What did you say?
George: I don't know what the hell I said

Jerry: I'm not gonna do it
George: You're not gonna do it? WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE NOT GONNA DO IT?
Jerry: I can't! I'm not an orgy guy!
George: ARE YOU CRAZY!? THIS IS LIKE DISCOVERING PLUTONIUM BY ACCIDENT!

“Want one? Yeah, I just bought it at the Flea Market.”
“Hey, what goes on there, exactly?”
“You don’t know?”
“No, I-I-I know…I know…”
“You think they have fleas there, don’t you?”
“No…”
“Yes you do, Biff. You’ve never been to a Flea Market, and you think they have fleas there.”
“All right, I think they have fleas there!”
