Imagine how wild they'd go today with all the new material out there.

I love the Curb Seinfeld reunion where George became a millionaire inventing an iPhone app - the iToilet. Directs you to the nearest public toilet anywhere you are in the world.

There is an app that does that.

Quite an amazing show, I can't really think of many shows that so accurately explain social ineractions than Seinfeld. Watching it now the oufits look dated and some of the references obviously are, but the each episodes "theme" still are completely accurate.

When you get a few Seinfeld fans working in the same office, it's amazing how many times somebody will comment, "Lulz, that's just like that Seinfeld ep!"

Disagree, I think Seinfeld was just as strong in seasons 7 & 8

Think you mean 8 and 9.

It had a different stride to it. It was a little quicker, more one liners and the character values strayed a bit. I think they also went a lot wilder with some of the production. Ironically, I think seasons 8 and 9 became more like a "regular" sitcom and less like Seinfeld as we knew it.

I liked it, but I think it was successful because the show already had such a strong grounding.

There's no question a lot of those episodes in Season 8 and 9 would not have got to the writing stage if Larry David was still in charge.

Wow wtf.

It was showed up on one of the "news" iPhone apps (Usually pretty reliable) yesterday. It said Feb 17th so just presumed last week.
May have popped up as a related story to the Kruger one?

Thought he died a while ago... from memory a Seinfeld actor did die last week ... possibly the guy that played Jerry's dad in that one episode?

Yeah that's right. The first Morty, Phil Bruns, died a couple weeks ago. The more well known Morty, Barney Martin, died quite a few years ago now too. Before the DVD release at least since they mention it on there.

Anyone game enough to listen to the phone calls?

I think i'll pass

I listened to a few minutes of it. Pretty depressing stuff :thumbsd:

Even though he had shot himself in the head, he thought it might be important to let the 911 guy know that he'd shit his pants too.

How has this thread not had a bump for so long!

Believe it or not, I'm quite partial to the odd episode of Seinfeld.

"I once told a woman I enjoy spending time with my family." :thumbsu:
Yeah I did the 'it's not you it's me' routine as well.
