Not very strong at the back with Bridge out of position, Ash Cole at leftback and the once mighty but fading Hyypia partnered with Kenny Cunningham. Cudicini is a saving grace however.

The midfield is far stronger although lacking width. Pires isn't a pure wideman and is more of an inside left. Similarly, Steed does his best work pulling the strings in the middle. I'd have Mendieta on the right and Pires in his natural position on the left in no time.

Upfront Super Al and JFH will certainly be banging them in, although their styles are similar and could get in each other's way.

Defence – G.Southgate, P.Neville, Bonnissel

Phill Neville in the middle of a 3 man backline? Van Der Sar is good, but he's not that good. He'll be forced to make more saves than a frontline medic.

The midfield I like although Giggsy and Freddie should be swapped around to play on their natural sides. Lampard and Keane provides for a well-balanced central midfield.

Anelka and RVN upfront with Sheri dropping deeper would be superb to watch.

Premier League All Stars
Keeper: Lehman
Defence: Silvestre – Gallas – Zeige
Midfield: Kewell – Robert – Djorkaeff – Veron
Strikers: Owen – Beattie – Mutu
Substitutes: Howard, Ronaldo, O’Shea, Izzet, Gresko
dyertribe sez ;):
This side has the makings of a solid rear guard although the attack-minded Ziege in a 3-man defence could unhinge the solidity provided by his French camarades. A better bet would be to shift Silvestre to the left and bring on the vastly talented O'Shea to look after things on the right.

The midfield is slightly dodgy in its current form. Swap Robert for his natural left-wing position and Veron for his natural central role and that's all sorted.

Upfront I really like. Beattie as the big target man with Mutu and Owen feeding off him with their movement and pace. My only concern is the potential for the two smaller men to get in each other's way.

Abramoviche's Super Forces
GK: Niemi
DE: John Terry - Sol Campbell - Rio Ferdinand - Graeme Le Saux
MID: Danny Murphy - Patrick Viera - Jay Jay Okocha - Damian Duff
STR: Hernan Crespo - Thierry Henry
SUB: Scott Parker - Joe Cole - Mikael Forssel - Glen Johnson - Shay Given [/B]
dyertribe sez ;):

The strongest defence of the lot. My only possible fix would be to sacrifice one of either Terry, Campbell or Rio for Glen Johnson, thus balancing the back 4.

The midfield is also superb with Vieira shielding his impressive defence and Okocha and Duff providing creativity, flair, pace and guile and Murphy providing some extra workrate and grit.

Upfront? Hernan and Henry... that's a match made in heaven with Henry able to move out wide or drop deep leaving Crespo in the box to do what he does best.

Easily the strongest of the four teams.

Apart from the thousands of players out of position I reckon their effort is something Gullit would be more than proud of ;)

Mate, I have about zilch knowledge in soccer. We all done it for something to do, filled in some time.
