Selwood on Josh Kelly - how many?

Neither of the people Selwood or Hawkins hit were hurt, if they were then they get in trouble. AFL are using a result based system like in the real world if you hit someone in your car with bad driving you only get manslaughter if they die. If you hurt them you get grievous bodily harm (dont know what the word is). If they are unharmed then maybe a poor driving charge or nothing at all.

Just change your thinking to factor in the results of the action first, then on to the action itself if needed. It makes much much more sense after you realise this.

Lets spin the wheel and see what we get...its come up "potential to injure" so that will be added to the charge this time...unlucky for Selwood on that occasion as he hasn't had that dreaded loosely framed charge added to anything of his recently.

The AFL handed out financial penalties and even 1 week penalties this year for various actions which didnt hurt.

They have given up bothering with Geelong.

Thread probably could have ended after this one. There’s a few posters here with a definite agenda. Joel should have missed for his face massages along with probably 10-15 other AFL players in the last year (including these same posters freedom-fighting and constantly-oppressed champion Greene). Selwood was probably even luckier to walk after his high bump in round 21.

However, trying to suggest this incident is suspension worthy simply shows that these posters are unable to look at incidents involving Selwood with any level of neutrality.
Yeah, we're all evil people with an "agenda" - on a social media platform..... FFS.

Dusty doesn’t even get a free kick against for a high fend off and the nuffy Richmond fans think this deserves a suspension lol. The hatred in here is a sight to behold.
Just nuffy central.

Now why do people think the below incident wasn’t looked at?
I know why, but do you guys calling for a Selwood suspension know?

Should have been a fine. But as I said above the AFL has given a number of 1 werk penalties this year for dangerous actions which did no harm.

Are you saying a fend off with the elbow isnt a dangerous action ?
