Poor team selection. Chickens came home to roost. Fagan sticks with some duds and that’s the difference.

Absolutely. Lack of a KPF and Fagan constantly playing his pets which cost us.

Witherden should hang his head in shame for that pitiful chase resulting in that last GWS goal.

All of Gardiner, Andrews and Adams were terrible and their ineffectiveness cost us all finals series. Too many players got way ahead of themselves and just played arrogant footy this finals campaign.

So we now have the dubious honour of continuing that rotten stat of one of the top four going out in straight sets.

Absolutely sickened by the past fortnight.

As much as I despised the umpiring effort (particularly razor Ray trying to insert himself on the game wherever possible), Hipwoods snap in the last quarter was off a clear throw, and Andrews should have been called holding the ball at the start of the last also.

Dominate inside 50s like that and fail to score (and allow intercept marks) and you’re asking for trouble; it happened both last week and this week.

3-4 games we kicked goals in the last 2 minutes to steal the game.. unfortunately we are on the wrong side this week. Forward line can definitely improve however much of that comes from our meterage style of play.

Hurts to lose when we were the better team on the night, however we are quick to forget where we were 12 months ago. A season far exceeding all expectations- and now we go into 2020 with genuine premiership aspirations.

Hope you don't mind the intrusion, but just wanna say how much I admire the Lions. Their fighting spirit and pressure was something to behold, puts us to shame. They have the raw material to be a champion team, just need some more experience. Could, maybe should, have won tonight, but coming from 15th to 2nd and almost making a prelim is a mighty effort. Should be a real contender next year, see you guys then!
