Need to try something different with Hinge, could he tag Sicily? feel like he hasn’t improved in 2-3 years now, we should be getting more out of him with the athletic profile, size and kick.

Need to bring cook in too, we don’t have medium sized forwards who can halve a contest, we say our talls are mobile but they really aren’t. Tex is 2 now steps slower than his opponent which can’t be helped, Fog plays like there’s a stick up his ass and Thilthorpe gets double teamed or is gassed from the ruck.

Gut feel is that Bond will be first out. Only Rach to come into the 23. Smith a very good chance to survive. Especially considering Laird is now one of our primary mid rotators.

The only IN we must have regardless of result is an aggressive, front foot, chase the win mentality.

If we lose doing that, will still hurt but it’s a step forward.

If we lose playing the same negative, deer in the headlights, choke on the big stage style then it will be a complete season of nagging doubts on the playing and coaching groups.

Our approach this week is everything. The whole AFL world hates us…time to fight and smash the haters.

I actually wouldn’t do it, but I sense Hinge might be in some trouble at selection. They knew they had to sub out a back half player (shoehorned themselves because they botched selection), knew we needed to go all out attack to win, and still chose Hinge for the vest over Bond. Speaks volumes.

I don't think a huge amount of changes are needed ( as much as they would be deserved) because a whole bunch of players got to find out what actual finals footy pressure is.

I'd swap Rash for Smith and maybe one more change but that'd be it. I'd really like us to drop Rob but that isn't going to happen but after 10 wins in a row, we were coming up for a loss and we got are arses handed to us big time by an accomplished finals footy team.

Lets see how they respond, if we go out in straight sets, we definitely get to see who doesn't have it in them to take the next step and if that is the case, lets go hard at the trade table. As much as I am ambivalent to getting Oliver, Thursdays game probably forced our hand on that.

Unless Cook kicks another 4+ goals, don't want him in. Goes missing far too often to be taking that kind of risk on someone that potentially doesn't get a touch for a half.
