Have been away for a couple of days....driving back to melbourne, was listening to Campbell Brown and a Jack ?, they were terrific. Jack has a perfect voice for radio, was confident and seemed to know his sports. CBrown was a good side kick.....had a few genuine laughs too.

Enjoyed listening to them.

Jack Heverin - one of Hutchys boys from Croc Media.
He actually was one of the host on EON Sports for its short lifespan.

Yes, I like Jack too. Like you said, nice voice and very professional. Campbell Brown, like most of the retired footballers, is OK in small doses.

Point being this'll be a time where he'd ramble on and on about it. Even if the team ended up winning the super bowl with Newton throwing 12 touchdowns an 0 interceptions, Steveonly keep quiet and not acknowledge a great performance.

With some of the errant throws today. It's not certain if there was a miscommunication or the receiver ran a poor route.

Him doing the 9-12 sounds more of a fit than Caro. If he's the main footy caller. What happens with Hudson and Granland? Huddo is big enough of a name, that it's no big deal. But I hope it doesn't mean Matty G is getting the arse?

Interesting points to note from the article.

Will become the chief sports broadcaster at sen. Now excuse my ignorance, but hasn't that been huddos role at the station? Does that mean huddo is gone from sen? I believe he was a part owner before the takeover of the station.

Whately will head over to America to cover the superbowl comprehensively for the station. The Americanisation of sen begins, with Hutchinsons love for all things American no secret.

That stuns me if true. He's the most respected voice in sport on the national broadcaster. And working 9-12 every day, then doing AFL 360 at night isn't going to result in him seeing more of his kids than he does now with the cricket.

I don't imagine they could afford to pay him what the ABC did when they backed the truck up to stop him going to AW.

Edit: All that said, I'm a fan of Whately's, and this will likely result in me listening to a hell of a lot more of it than I did in the last 12 months. Though I'm cognisant of the fact that me liking him probably suggests the core demographic of SEN listeners may not.
