Sen - The Run Home - Most Annoying Regular

I have made the decision to give listening to the run home because it has changed from talking sports a couple of years ago to a group of 20 odd annoying old men who put on crap voices and people plugging their twenty20 match or lawn bowl night.

Personally the person who gets on my nerves the most would have to be Vito, that stupid old Italian man. I know he has nothing original or interesting to say but what makes him the most annoying is how slowly he talks. I would love to punch him in the kidney.

I think you'll find a bunch of those voices are the same guy. Vito is pretty bloody funny from time to time.

It's a bit hit and miss. Some evenings it's bloody hilarious and sometimes it's just average. Worth sticking with cause when it's good it's great!

That pea brain, Francis Leach. I listened to their show for the final time last night. A guy came on voicing an opinion with which Leach didn't agree. Did he allow the guy his opinion? Did he explain why he disagreed with the opinion? No, he got upset, called him a moron and cut him off.

This highlights the contempt with which that squalid radio station treats it's audience and I for one will not tolerate that sort of behaviour from the media.

SEN deserves annoying ******** callers, because that's what it promotes.

I heard that opinion. Wasn't it that Hodge was washed up and should retire to make way for younger players? I thought the guy sounded like a fool and got what he deserved. Maybe a tad over the top by Francis, though.

Caller stated that Brad Hodge should no longer play for Victoria because he can no longer get a game for Australia. Seemed to think that the Sheffield Shield comp is the same as an AFL list....

Francis pointed out that Brad Hodge had just made a double hundred and told him quite rightly that he was a moron.

That's a brilliant segment. Informative and educational on a topic that would be of interest to many of the listeners. Discusses a different beer each week and has a bit of fun. What's wrong with that?

You're probably right about the demographic, but wrong about the segment being stupid.

And there's nothing wrong with a woman being an expert in the field of beer. What century are you in?

I think gender of the person is not really at issue, I dont mind hearing what new beers she brings up, mind you none of late have been that new. I would prefer a discussion on reds rather than Amber, but it is SEN and most of the listerns especially the regular idiots that ring up and ruin the show wouldnt know a decent drop of booze if the were hit over the head with them

Amen..........old beers, the term "nondescript" was describing the person NOT the gender & some people think that by drinking or talking about so called boutique beers it is "cool".

At least he got that far. Rang up KB's show once, got told my opinion wasn't KB's so I wouldn't get on. And caro reckons Cousins is sensative. Talk about massaging the ego.
