The problem with fixing his action is that he was bowling 40 degrees. There is no way that isn't deliberate so why would we trust him to not revert back to his old action once he gets cleared?

Now can we line-up the following "bowlers" outside the Cardiff testing centre?

Ajmal
Narine
Gazi
Pollard
Ojha
Cooper
Mills
Dhawan
Ellis
Botha
Razzak
Utseya
Samuels
oh, and Murali still plays the odd ICC-sanctioned event...

AND THE BIG FISH...Hashim Amla. Haven't seen the new offie from Sri Lanka but I doubt he's squeaky clean either. Preparing to see some shockers from Afghanistan and UAE at the World Cup.

About time. He's a good spinner but it's always hard to acknowledge it properly when one looks as dodgy as Ajmal.

Haven't seen a close-up, but Perera doesn't seem too bad. Pretty standard offie.

Doesn't have a doosra which would help too

The ICC have been on the warpath on this issue over the past year or so - Sohag Gazi the latest:

Can't remember them ever coming out and explicitly saying that they weren't going to tolerate dodgy actions anymore? Won't see me praise the ICC often, but have to say it's good to see actions starting to speak louder than words.

Prosper Utseya as well.

They said they would crack down on it at the last ICC meeting. I guess its what happens when Australia, England and India call the shots. Australia and England think it's a blight on the game and India has no reason to care.
