I just wanted to get peoples ideas and opinions on who will take over Bail's role at the club (Strategy & Innovation) and other changes that may happen at the end of the season ?

I think David Noble is doing all that?

No he's taken over Bail's role for the time being, I think till the end of the season.
David Noble was just appointed Head of Football as the main man of Football Operations. I'm sure they will also get a new List manager I think I'm not sure about that, I just assume.

I would really like to have John Worsfold as a senior assistant but that looks highly unlikely.

Other than Voss who else would be available?

Gee, Vossy could be a great choice.

Worsfold for me las apart from everything else like his suggestion to stop everyone being in 1 half as think that is back to under 10 football and does not encourage good footy .
Think Thompson was lucky to get out of Essendon problems unscathed at this stage and think he has developed a strong attitude of his own ability.

Hi Steven,
I'm not sure if I should be thrilled that you have started canvassing ideas from your supporter base, or terrified that you are so out of ideas you have to ask random internet trolls.
Would you also like some ideas on marketing, match entertainment and coaching panel appointments along with what information to keep on file and what to delete?
Regards,
Everyone

Some may laugh at this but as a senior assistant coach - what about Terry Wallace.

He took the Western Bulldogs and is innovative as a coach, he knows the game inside and out and has had success with good players (he has crap all at Richmond)

The only concern I would have is how long he has been away from the game as a coach and in the media.

Senior assistant coach - Terry Wallace.

We need a forward line coach and move either Scott Camporeale on or Mark Bickley on. One of those two has to go and the other gets the midfield role.

Forward line coach: James Podsiadly - I would ask him to retire and become a full time assistant coach in charge of the forward line. I would also throw a truck load of money at Wayne Carey to become a forward line consultant Monday to Thursday and he can then do his media duties.

Senior coach: Brenton Sanderson
senior assistant coach: Terry Wallace
Defensive coach: Darren Milburn
Midfield coach: Mark Bickley
Ruck coach: Shaun Rehn
Forward line coach: James Podsiadly

Reserves coach: Brenton Phillips
assistant coach: Brad Symes

With Wayne Carey, Ben Rutten and Ian Callinan to be part time coaches and work with the development players.

Not sure anything will change. We've gone with an internal to head up the footy dept, so I doubt we'll see much change for next year. We might see a single sacrifice and if it's just 1, I'd hope its Clarke. Other than that, I expect a softly softly, everything's ok approach to 2015.

If we'd headhunted the best out there, we might have seen a broom.

I would prefer neither of these guys on our coaching panel, not for any reason other than I think midfield and forward line often seem a little directionless.
In regards to Campo however, I thought it was interesting to hear Danger say something about how great Campo has been with him, going through footage and all the rest. Basically how valuable Danger thinks he is. I know a player isn't going to slag off on their coach to the media, but I don't recall him actually being asked about a coach, just how he was dealing with the tag, so the fact he brought up Campo (and Thommo and i think) himself speaks volumes for what he does for the midfield group.
That being said, he has been here a few years and our midfield has not really improved at all, you might say it has gone backwards from 2 years ago, so i think he should be replaced.

caller on AA eluded to The Hound Dog not finding Melbourne as all that it's cranked up to be and could be eying a return to S.A.......would he fit into the Sandos coaches box ? Interested on anyone's thoughts

Wallace is a dickhead. So many VFL fleas on his back the fruit fly bloke won't let him across the border.

I would think Ayres would be better at whatever Wallace has to offer.

However it is imperative Sanderson gets a mentor, ASAP.
