Not good we don't want another season harassed by media. We have to get on the front foot with a positive statement that limits the questions and hypotheticals. If he leaves then he either says his 'staying' with a clause to leave at the end of the season or some other miracle statement spin. Don't know how we spin it if Caracella is our priority.

Surely Caracella would be our number 1 priority if Worsfold leaves success seems to follow him.

I hope we go through a rigorous process to determine who is the best candidate to take us to the next level. If that's Caracella, so be it

Worsfold has done his job, now known as a saviour, not as a coach of premiership druggies. Very similar to Malthouse and his steroid filled state sides.
Win lose or draw needs to move on at years end.
I'm finding it very hard to think that Woosha walks away from Essendon with a better rep. than two of our greatest footballers.

The club is pretty cashed up, we could buy him a new family.
One that’s more reliable and won’t take off.
Thanks for that laugh, nearly spat my drink all over my monitor.

Meanwhile, it’s hard to see him accepting another contract. Strange situation to see play out now.
That is the issue really, being the only coach out of contract means if not handled well we could cop a fair bit of media speculation about all this. Not that it should derail a season or anything, its just annoying as a spectator to have to listen to that instead of how good (see I can be optimistic too) we are playing.

Another season of misery down Freo way will see a monster offer on the table for Woosha, if there isn't one already, so this all kind of adds up, which is cool.

I hope that this doesn't cause an unnecessary distraction, but it almost certainly will.

While Worsfold has been great for us in our time of need, I'm far from ready to put a line through him as yesterday's man as far as his coaching is concerned. We know that the most effective coaching structures have a figurehead at the top with specialists whose responsibilities include game-day tactics below him.

They've been talking defence so I'm looking forward to the way our style evolves this year.

Or even the other WA side

Knowing contracts can mean very little these days i wonder if the club would consider Adam Simpson or Ross Lyon if they lost their position due to a poor year?

Why not?

Im also against having Ross Lyon. Simpson has had some pretty good success and seems to still play a modern/attractive brand of footy in comparison to Ross.
I like Simpson. Seems a lot more real than a lot of the other coaches. Sort of coach you'd like to play under. Not unlike Worsfold really.

Eight hour round trip to Perth is hard to keep up with. Would be very tough to do for more than a year especially if you have school age kids.

We may be fighting with Pies for Caracella’s services by year end.

Collingwood delusionally will be keeping Buckley. If they were going to sack him it was last year

Chances of a sneeeaky Hird move? The salt would be amazing, and regardless of the peptides he did have us in premiership contention in 2013 before it all went wrong late in the season.
So basically, after moving on and getting ourselves in a good position, you want us to go back to the shitstorm?

Yeah nah I'll pass
