Great news if true.. and not just that he's leaving but where he's going too.
They seem OK with the appointment on the Blues board.

Maybe he'll be more useful there.

Having said that, I still don't know what he actually did at our club, apart from pissing off whomever was the head coach, and sending a weekly email.

Yeah I just popped over to gauge opinions too and was kind of surprised tbh. We'll see how they feel in 12 months.

If I know the football industry, we won't announce this coaching setup until there is a day of controversy somewhere else to mask it a bit.

I'm tipping a Crowley episode

Back on Worsfold with respect to Xavier Campbell's comments to the the media - he said we have not offered the senior coaching position. He did not state or deny any other role had been offered.

Pissed off if we just went out and offered Woosha a five year deal.

Go through the bloody process. Have we learnt nothing from the Hird appointment.

Spill the board.
Almost to the point where everyone is expecting Worsfold to be named coach.I will be surprised if they pick some one else.

We are such an amateur club. Seriously.

Who the hell will ever want to apply for a senior coaching job at Essendon ever again given this is the 3rd time in 5 years we've appointed a sham selection panel to interview candidates and then just picked whatever coach we wanted beforehand anyway.

Good God.

I'll give it a couple of weeks before one of Brad Sewell or Craig Belamy come out and say that Essendon wasted their time much like Terry Wallace did.
