Whatever the **** I want ...

My point though, was that your posts showed little to no understanding of IT security - hence stick to the helpdesk n00b :thumbsu:

My posts showed little to no understanding and yours show what nothing to ****all of nothing.

Please stick to washing windows and licking dipsticks.

BIOS passwords are very rarely used. I doubt they've even got a password on their administrator account.

Love your combination of the words impregnable and impenetrable, does that make it twice as hard to access?

StMojo, should I really bother talking to you? Your just going around in circles all over a comment that you made yourself look like an idiot with.

Want an intelligent wise I.T. question?

Lets give you an easy Helpdesk question and see mate... What is it called in Outlook 2007 to give someone else access to your emails? And how do you about granting this access? And Helpdesk n00b should know this one ;)

They would have had bios bootup password plus finger print identity with window 7 which is impregnatrable with a 16 digit password.

Wouldnt have to worry about a linux boot usb password cracker anyway Colliflogs are to slow for that

Step 1. Take one phillips head screwdriver, remove computer in it's entirety from around the HDD.
Step 2. Mount drive in a desktop.
Boot computer ignoring the drive exists.
Run WINUAE , amiga emulator, select drive in menu....dump contents to new HDD or a virtual partition.
Read all contents with cross-dos.
Goose = Cooked.
Viola.

Interesting.

How exactly will you be mounting a laptop HDD in a desktop?

Yep, or buy an adapter for a couple of bucks.

Or just hack the laptop straight out with a variety of methods. Hell in this instance I wouldn't even be surprised if I could guess the password within 10 attempts.

Thing is, once you have physical access no system (or schoolgirl) is safe.
