With all our first ruck troubles I wouldn't be at all surprised if Sentanta plays in the ruck next year. He has the perfect attributes for a ruckman. He's fast, good around the ground, is tall and has a good leap. If he can learn the art of rucking over the pre-season he could really contribute in this position next year.

Well he seems to be able to adapt to new roles with some sort of ease so possibly. He reminds me of a younger jeff white with is leap but with a lot more dash! The potential is there...

Nope, wouldn't want him there. He seems to have found his niche as a running defender, so why alter this?

I can see him rucking a little bit maybe as relief or against the more mobile ruckmen in the competition, but there is no doubt that he is best as a defender, and that is where he will play the vast majority of his football.

Would be a bit of a risk considering he is starting to be a good player down back and this expirement would do wonders but on the other hand could wreck everything we have done for him so far.

If we do get a ruckman during trade week or the draft i would say no but if we dont i guess we have too

As good as athletisism is, i'd try to let him settle in one position. Not growing up with Australian Rules Footy and not really having a footy brain. means if we keep chopping and changing him from position to position, IMO, he'd really struggle.

I like him in the backline and that's where we should keep him. Rucking is a very difficult skill to master, even more so for a guy who had only touched a footy a few years ago.

just wait for aisake o'hailpin, he's 202cm and if his older brother is anything to go by he's very athletic. also, he's better than what his brother was at the same stage so let's hope he can come up and solve our ruck problems. needs to bulk up heaps though and needs to have a massive pre-season in the gym.

Dont think so.

He has a good chance of being a very good backman at the moment.

In the ruck next year he'd get slaughtered in tap outs majority of time. I think we need to see the good ole fashioned ruckman back in our team... another dinosaur... lets get Madden out of retirement :)
